I love skincare products with the word "scrub" in them!  That word "scrub" just oozes promises of clean, exfoliated skin to me.  So, naturally I was pretty excited to receive the Kyoku for Men Wind Body Scrub to review for my blog, or I guess to have my husband review for my blog, but I got in on the action too!.

This is a scrub that can definitely be a universal scrub for men & women.  I think a lot of women tend to like the smell of scents that men wear/use, especially if they are not too manly and overpowering.  The scent of this scrub is almost herbal and is very subtle.  I for one, love those kind of smells!  The Kyoku Scrub is made with natural ingredients and lathers up nicely to give a really good, deep clean and leaves your skin feeling soft, refreshed and with just a hint of herbal scent.  

I would say that the Kyoku for Men Wind Body Scrub get a thumbs up from both me and my husband!

Before the Tone It Up girls that I love so much there was Tracy Anderson.  I have always loved Tracy Anderson and her workouts.  Her body is amazing and so are the bodies of the famous women that she trains, J. Lo, Cameron Diaz and Gwyneth Paltrow, just to name a few.  Her method is to consistently and strategically open up new conversations between the brain and the body.  She pushes the boundaries of what we think is possible, and finds new ways to tap into our vitality making sure that we are highly functioning, healthy, and feeling our best at any age.
If you are into the big muscles then her workouts are not for you.  She is more about precise definition and maintaining a more lean but womanly shape...which is exactly the kind of look I love!
I currently have the Dance Cardio Workout & Dance + Cardio & I just purchased the Precision Toning but I am really wanting to her new Metamorphosis which one of my girlfriends just purchased so I can't wait to borrow it!  As you can see, her DVD's are very affordable, except for the more pricey Metamorphosis but I think they are a great little investment in yourself!

I have been loving all these great eye products that I have been able to try out lately!  As you know I have a slight addiction to eye products of all kinds, gels, balms, creams and serums.  Adeline sent me their Organic Eye Serum to test out and review for them and now it has become a staple in my night time skincare routine!

Rosehip Oil is another one of those oils that has become a part of my daily skincare routine because of the great things is does for my skin and hair.  Lately, I have been using the Organic Rosehip Oil that Valentia Skin Care sent me.  Rosehip Oil is that it's one of those oils that is a multi-tasker.  I always love a oil that has many uses, especially for traveling.

I love trying out different cleansing oils and luckily I have been able to try quite a few and they have all done a pretty great job at removing my makeup but some are definitely better than others.  However, because I have oily skin I still like to use a traditional cleanser to clean my face after I use the cleansing oil to remove my makeup.
  Lately, I have been testing out the Deep Cleansing Oil Makeup Remover by LAVO and I love it.  It does a really great job and stripping away all my makeup, even waterproof mascara.  That's is what sets this cleansing oil apart from others that I have tried, not all of the take off waterproof mascara but the LAVO Deep Cleansing Oil did!

It's also super easy to use and no scrubbing is needed.  Just massage into skin for about a minute, yes, even onto your eyes!  You will end up looking hideous with makeup smeared all over your face but just splash your face with water to emulsify the oil and use a cloth (I like to use muslin cloths from Pai) to finish washing off.  You can use this cleansing oil by itself but like I said, because I have oily skin I still choose to use my regular cleanser after I remove my makeup with the cleansing oil.

It's always a great thing when things that I love come together.  In this case it's my love of masks and InstaNatural (I love their products!)!  InstaNatural sent me their Dead Sea Mud Mask to review for them and before I even opened the jar I knew I would love it.

First of all, the size of the jar (16 oz.) is very generous so you can get a ton of masks out of one jar and that is ALWAYS a good thing.  I think I was expecting a really think clay type consistency but it's more like a gel than anything else, actually...think pudding, pudding is probably the best description of the consistency.  Needless to say I was very intrigued!  It feels nice and cool when you first put it on and as it dries you can feel it cleaning out your pores and soothing your skin all at the same time.  It's kinds unlike any other mask I have tried ( and I have tried A LOT of them) and I love it!  My skin feels clean, smooth and hydrated.  This is a great mask that I do at least twice a week since it has the benefits of cleaning out your pores and being soothing & hydrating.
