Stability Ball by Pavandeep Wellness Products Review + Giveaway

I love Stability Balls!  There are so many different ways to use a Stability Ball and it's one definitely one of the key components of my work out regime.  This ball from Pavandeep Wellness Products is exceptional quality, especially compared to some of the other Stability Balls I have purchased in the past.  It has a high resistance up to 2000 lbs of pressure which makes it ideal for all types of training and fitness and it's also the perfect size at  65cm by 75cm.
One of may favorite Stability Ball workouts that I do is by the The Tone It Up girls so make sure you check it out...you are guaranteed some sore muscles, ones you didn't even know you had!

If you have never worked out with a Stability Ball before now is your chance!  Pavandeep Wellness Products has graciously offered to host a Giveaway and give a FREE Stability Ball to one lucky reader!  The Giveaway starts 05/01/15 @ 9 a.m. PST and ends 05/11/15 @ 9 a.m. PST.

You can also purchase a Stability Ball by Pavandeep Wellness Products on Amazon.com...

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.  Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Fitness Friday-21 Day Fix & Tone It Up

Happy Fitness Friday!
I am finally getting back on track after being sick for what seemed like EVER and my girlfriend and I decided to do the "21 Day Fix" to get back in the swing of things.  Naturally, I consulted Pinterest and started a "21 Day Fix" board so I will continue grow that board as I find valuable and relevant pins.  I found a few really good pins from healthyrevenge.com (see above) so that's a really great website to check out if you are interested!
Also, I did a blog post awhile ago..."Using Pinterest To Stay In Shape" and then I have a "Food" board which I use it to pin healthy recipes that help me stay on track too.  (Beware...there are also some not-so-healthy recipes on my Food board!).

I am also really excited that Tone It Up started their Bikini Series so I signed up for that as well and they just released a new workout video, The Mermaid Workout so make you check that out too...

Are you getting back on track and getting ready for Summer too?  What is your go-to Fitness & Weight Loss plan?  I would love to hear about it so leave me a comment below...

21-Day Arm Sculpting Challenge

Happy Fitness Friday!

So, I thought what a better way to start off the weekend than with a Challenge!  I have been wanting to get my arms in shape for Spring so I can feel good about wearing short sleeve shirts and tank tops so this challenge comes at a perfect time for me and I thought some of you would like to join me.
This is a 21-Day Arm Sculpting Challenge from PopSugar Fitness and it's really simple with plenty of "Rest Days" to give your muscles time to rebuild and become stronger and so there isn't any room for excuses.  All you need is the appropriate size dumbbell (three to eight pounds) and then just follow the plan above.
Use this link for more detailed information!  Who's with me?  If you are interested in doing this challenge just leave me a comment below and I will respond to you!

Fitness Friday-Using Pinterest to Stay in Shape!

I must say I am a bit of a Pinterest addict!  It has got to be one of the best inventions ever, next to the Internet, email and Post-It notes!
I use Pinterest to save recipes, skin care/makeup articles & products, blog ideas, home decor and a handful of other things but one of my favorite ways to utilize Pinterest is to save fitness & workout articles, videos and challenges.
Any workout or challenge that I want to try I simply save to my "Fitness" Pinterest board.  It is such a great way to keep my workouts fresh and new.  I add new workouts almost daily so if you are looking for ways to stay in shape and stay motivated make sure you follow GlamRiver on Pinterest or you can also just follow my Fitness Board!  (I also pin a lot of healthy recipes to my Food board so that would be another good one to follow!)

Fitness Friday-30 Day Challenge

One of my favorite websites that I refer to a lot is 30DayFitnessChallenges.com.  They have a great selection of 30 Day Challenges to choose from and I love that you can print out each challenge so you can check them off as you do them.
With a new month coming up I think it's a great time to start a challenge so I picked 4 that I am going to combine and create a workout for each day based on the challenges.  I'm going to be doing the Ab Challenge, Plank Challenge, Squat Challenge and Arms Challenge.  I think these challenges work best if you have a partner to compete with and to help keep you on target, my partner is going to be my husband, he just doesn't know it yet!

Do you want to join me for a challenge?  If you do leave me a comment below and we'll touch base and help keep each other motivated! Happy Fitness Friday!

Fitness Friday ***Tracy Anderson*** Method: Dance Cardio Workout

Happy Fitness Friday!!
Before the Tone It Up girls that I love so much there was Tracy Anderson.  I have always loved Tracy Anderson and her workouts.  Her body is amazing and so are the bodies of the famous women that she trains, J. Lo, Cameron Diaz and Gwyneth Paltrow, just to name a few.  Her method is to consistently and strategically open up new conversations between the brain and the body.  She pushes the boundaries of what we think is possible, and finds new ways to tap into our vitality making sure that we are highly functioning, healthy, and feeling our best at any age.
If you are into the big muscles then her workouts are not for you.  She is more about precise definition and maintaining a more lean but womanly shape...which is exactly the kind of look I love!
I currently have the Dance Cardio Workout & Dance + Cardio & I just purchased the Precision Toning but I am really wanting to her new Metamorphosis which one of my girlfriends just purchased so I can't wait to borrow it!  As you can see, her DVD's are very affordable, except for the more pricey Metamorphosis but I think they are a great little investment in yourself!

Fitness Friday***New Series***

Fitness Friday

Happy Fitness Friday and Welcome to my new series which will replace Tone It Up Tuesday's.  I will still be doing posts about the Tone It Up girls simply because I find them inspiring but I will also be including other workout guru info, workouts, supplements that I am taking and anything else fitness related.  If there is something specific you would like to see a post about just leave me a comment below.
I decided to change it up a bit because 2014 was a rough year and I totally fell off the fitness wagon.  I had a lot of back issues that left me unable to workout for months at a time.  I am finally feeling like I can hit it pretty hard so I wanted to get 2015 off to a good start and the Tone It Up girls are doing their annual Love Your Body Challenge so I thought I would start out with sharing some info about it.  (Plus, there are prizes involved and who doesn't love prizes?)

The Love Your Body Challenge is a 45-day, 100 Mile challenge to get you in shape by Valentine's Day.  This year Katrina & Karena promise that we will workout harder than we ever have, all we need to do is fully commit to ourselves and our dreams!  It’s an average of 2.2 miles per day. You can walk them or jog, run, stairmill, swim, elliptical, whatever type of workout you want to do.  Here are a few examples:
Biking: Divide your miles by 3. ex. 9 miles = 3 miles
Swimming: multiply by 3! ex. 1 mile swim = 3 miles
Beach Babe DVD: 40 minute HIIT = 4 miles

So, set your goals, get organized and take your before pics!  Get the full details here and make sure you sign up! #LoveYourBody
