Natural Mineral Based Sunscreen For Face And Body SPF 30 & Natural Insect Repellent by Smart Stuff

Just because summer is over doesn't mean you can forget putting on that sunscreen.  This Natural Mineral Based Sunscreen For Face And Body SPF 30 was my go-to sunscreen this summer and I haven't stopped using it.
This is a nice good-to-your-skin mineral based sunscreen that can be used from head to toe.  It's non-oily and is formulated without synthetic chemical sun filters, free of Parabens, PABA, Petroleum, Phthalates, there are no artificial colors or fragrances AND they do not do animal testing!!  Basically it's free of all the bad stuff which is really important these days.
Not only is this a great SPF but it also works well as a moisturizer.  It's lightweight, absorbs quickly and doesn't leave that annoying white sheen on your skin.  Perfect for year round protection!

You can find this Natural Mineral Based Sunscreen For Face And Body SPF 30 over on smartstuff.com and retails for $32.00.

While we won't be needing this Natural Insect Repellent by Smart Stuff again until spring we used a ton of it on our hikes and on our camping trips this summer!
If you love all natural options for Insect Repellent then you must get your hands on this.  Unlike some other natural options I've tried this one actually does a great job at keeping those annoying Mosquitoes at bay.  Plus, it actually has a nice refreshing scent not that gross chemical scent that's typical of most repellents.  Obviously, it now has a permanent place in my backpack!
However, I did find that when we ran into a really thick swarm of Mosquitoes I needed to bring out the bad stuff with the Deet.  Unfortunately, sometimes you might just need a little Deet.  That being said, this Natural Insect Repellent by Smart Stuff did a great job at repelling the average number of Mosquitoes and is safe for the whole family.  I will always reach for this first from now on and like I said it has a permanent place in my backpack!

You can also find this Natural Insect Repellent by Smart Stuff over on smartstuff.com and it retails for $25.00.

Tactical Emergency Nightlight by AYL

Who knew a flashlight on steroids would become my husbands new favorite toy?!  I have to admit it is pretty cool and fun to play with.  However, it's not really a toy.  It's a pretty amazing next level flashlight!
This Tactical Emergency Nightlight by AYL is a 4-in-1 flashlight with a telescoping body.  You can extend the flashlight which reveals the bar light in the middle which you can click the button and turn it into a really bright red light for emergencies.  The lights on it have the capability to be super bright which is perfect when your in need of some serious light.  The light itself is really lightweight and made from really durable materials and is water and shock resistant..  It even has a magnetic base so that you can attach to any metal surface to illuminate a large area without having to hold the flashlight yourself.
I would recommend buying a couple of these lights.  One to keep in your house, one in the car and one to take camping or hiking.  I also think these would make great gift ideas!
You can find this Tactical Emergency Nightlight by AYL on Amazon.com...

Quick Dry Microfiber Camping Towels by Rallt

These Quick Dry Microfiber Camping Towels by Rallt really the perfect towels to take camping or hiking.  The towels are really light weight and come in their own mesh bags which is perfect for throwing in a backpack or with other camping gear.
The towels dry super fast.  All you need to do is wring out any excess water and then hang dry.  They seem to dry almost instantly.
I recommend washing the Quick Dry Microfiber Camping Towels by Rallt before you use them and not using any sort of fabric softener.  When they are ready to be washed again just throw them in with the rest of your laundry.  However, instead of putting the towels in your dryer save on the electricity and just hang dry them!  After all, they dry super fast!

Mosquito Repellent Patch by Justified Laboratories

I'm always a little skeptical of Deet Free Mosquito Repellent products.  Even though I am not a fan of Deet it seems to be the only thing that really keeps the Mosquito's away.  However, I thought I would give these Mosquito Repellent Patch by Justified Laboratories a go and see how well they worked.
Overall, they are ok.  They are certainly not the worst Mosquito Repellent product that I have ever tried, however, they are not the best either.  I tried using these on a long hike where I knew we were going to run into some serious Mosquito's and applied a total of 4 patches but unfortunately they only helped a little and I had to resort to my traditional spray that contains Deet.  On the other hand, I also tested them out in our back yard where we tend to get a handful of Mosquito's and the patches seemed to work a little better.  So, I think they might work for the occasional Mosquito but when you are surrounded by a few hundred or more I think it might be best to choose something with Deet.
These Mosquito Repellent Patches by Justified Laboratories are a great idea and smell a ton better than Deet infused sprays but they just didn't seem to stand up to a serious swarm of annoying Mosquito's.

If you would like to try these patches out for yourself you can find them on Amazon.com...

Summer is all about being outside and enjoying the wonderful weather and the awesome nature that surrounds us.  But, sometimes you want to to bring your tunes with you to enjoy all that nature so having a nice sounding, Bluetooth and waterproof speaker is a must!
This SoundFit Plus Waterproof Bluetooth Speaker by AYL is the perfect size, it's lightweight and produces some great sound which makes it ideal to take camping, hiking, biking or just to use it at your next backyard barbecue.  I've used it camping and at several backyard barbecue's and it has the perfect amount of sound for large and small gatherings.  It also has a generous 33 ft. wireless range and uses Bluetooth 4.0 technology so it is able to pair up really quickly.
I've tested out several other wireless, Bluetooth speakers and this one is by far my favorite.  It has the best sound quality out of the other speakers and I love that it's waterproof!

Double Hammock with Tree Straps by Nortwill

For some reason I have become a bit obsessed with hammocks lately.  There is just something so relaxing about laying back in a hammock.  When you are being cradled in a hammock it's almost like it forces you to relax as it helps melt away the days' stress.
This Double Hammock with Tree Straps by Nortwill is the perfect to take on a camping or hiking trip or to use on an everyday basis in the backyard!  Made out of lightweight, durable material with quality, heavy duty carabineers that can support 400 pounds of body weight you will have no worries about this hammock ripping or tearing.
I also love that this hammock comes with it's own tree straps so there is no extra cost to purchase those and you can feel confident that the tree straps are made with same high standards as the hammock.  It also comes with it's own sack for easy storage and is the perfect size to just throw in a backpack.
The Double Hammock with Tree Straps by Nortwill also comes in a variety of colors like Khaki Olive (which is what I have), Charcoal Royal, Red Charcoal, Retro Tri Colored and Retro Tri V2.

Rain Chain by Toil in the Soil

I have always wanted one of these Rain Chains!  While it doesn't rain a ton where I live we do get pretty good storms when it does so I am patiently waiting for one of those storms too really see it in all it's glory!  In the meantime, I had to test it out with the hose so I could get the full effect of the waterfall sounds as the little pails fill up.  I don't know why but I have always liked the idea of Rain Chains versus a usual gutter downspout.  So much prettier visually and I love the sound that the Rain Chain makes.
This Rain Chain by Toil in the Soil is a really cute design that adds a little something special to our back yard.  We have some wind chimes that are made out of a similar copper material and also feature butterflies as well so they almost look like they are a matching set.  They look really nice hanging next to each other.  However, I'm thinking I need to get one more of these Rain Chains by Toil in the Soil so I can hang another one on the opposite side of the house too!

Parachute Hammock by Native Spring

There is just something about a hammock that is so relaxing, am I right?
This Parachute Hammock by Native Spring is the perfect hammock to just put up in your backyard or to take on a camping trip!  The great thing about this hammock is that it rolls up into a convenient drawstring bag so you can really take it anywhere!
I love having this set up in our backyard.  It becomes the perfect spot to take an afternoon nap or to sit and read a book while supping on my favorite cocktail.  However, since it's so easy to pack up into it's little bag I also love that we can take it camping with us too!
The hammock itself is really lightweight but also extremely durable.  It's also well made and even has triple stitching for additional support.  Technically this is a single person hammock but the fabric is nice quality 100% parachute nylon and has a capacity up to 600 lbs.
This hammock doesn't come with Hanging Hammock Tree Straps but I found some nice, inexpensive ones on Amazon that work great!

You can find this Parachute Hammock by Native Spring on Amazon.com as well as the Hanging Hammock Tree Straps...

Survival Paracord Bracelet by GikPal

As an avid hiker and camper safety is always something that is on my mind.  There is always the possibility of taking the wrong trail while hiking and ending up lost and being prepared is essential.  Lately, I have been taking things a little more seriously and adding items to my backpack that will come in handy for those "just in case" moments.  Naturally, when I saw this Survival Paracord Bracelet I knew it was something I had to have.
This is no ordinary bracelet.  This is a 5 in 1 survival tool and it's genius!  It is made from durable Paracord that can be disassembled and used for rope in an emergency.  Plus, contained in the buckle portion is a whistle, fire rod and fire scraper which can also double as a knife.  Like I said, genius!
While this bracelet is probably made more with a man in mind since it's a little big for my woman size wrists I think it's something anyone who hikes, hunts, or camps should have.  You can also just simply attach it to a backpack or any other gear if you didn't want to wear it as a bracelet.  You can also choose from all black or army green if your picky about color.  My husband and father have already requested one for themselves that they can use for hunting so it looks like I will be ordering more for gifts!
