There are so many moisturizers on the market right now and at 41 a good anti-aging moisturizer is a must!  Nonetheless, my issue with a lot of moisturizers is that they leave my already oily skin feeling & unfortunately looking even more oily...trust me it's not a good look!  Needless to say I was a little anxious to try out this Anti-Aging Moisturizer from Pure Affinity.  Thankfully and much to my surprise my skin absorbed it really quickly and left if feeling soft and smooth and not at all oily!

I love that this Pure Affinity Anti-Aging Moisturizer contains Matrixyl 3000 which has been proven to significantly increase collagen production which gives skin more elasticity and it also helps visibly reduce fine lines and wrinkles.  It's also full of antioxidants that help nourish and rehydrate the skin and the antioxidants also help reduce redness and fight free radicals which in turn helps reduce future skin damage.

 Overall, I am super impressed with this moisturizer.  It's a perfect fit for my oily skin and I really love that I can wear it under my make-up during the day without any issues.

There are three really great things about this Lumi Essence. The first thing is that it's Hydroquinone-Free!  While Hydroquinone is proven to be a very effective treatment for Melasma it's pretty toxic and known to have carcinogenic effects...no bueno.  Second, it's non-comedogenic and for someone who has oily and acne-prone skin like me that's a pretty big deal.  Last but certainly not least...it works!  I noticed all my problem areas faded in as little as 2 weeks.  That's pretty amazing since it does not contain any of that nasty Hydroquinone!

Y'all know I have a thing for Eye Creams and Gels.  I don't know what it is but I love a good eye product.  I'm sure it has something to do with that refreshed feeling I get after I apply a good eye product and the way the skin around my eyes becomes more smooth and de-puffed.  Love that!
This Total Repair Eye Gel that Amara Organics sent me definitely leaves my eyes feeling refreshed.  It soothes and cools the skin around my eyes and it's super hydrating and even better...it helps fill in those pesky little fine lines.
Tip: Whenever I have a little extra product left over I apply it to my neck and decollete as well!  Afterall, it's nice to share the love!

How cute is this shawl?  I love this thing!  I was sent this black one from Pembrook Fleece to review for them and I cannot recommend it enough!
If you have been looking for something to just throw over your shoulders and keep you warm and cozy this shawl is a great choice.  It has great embroidery detail on the pockets to give it that stylish edge.  It's perfect to just throw over some cute leggings if your headed out on the town or to throw on while you are at home snuggling up to watch a movie.  Not only is it really cute but it's super soft and comfy!  I plan on taking mine camping with me this summer.  How perfect would this be for sitting around a campfire?

I have been on the PreCleanse band wagon for awhile and I'm a huge fan.  I think the best beauty advice out there is washing your face...no matter what...every night.  When you PreCleanse you get to wash your face twice and I am always of the mind set that more is better, lol.

The idea behind PreCleansing is that you are removing your make-up, excess oils and other debris and then following up with your regular cleanser an since you PreCleansed your regular cleanser will work like it's supposed to.

The PreCleanse Oil is a Dermalogica fan favorite and here is why...This deep-cleansing oil melts impurities and make-up from skin.  You can achieve ultra clean and healthy skin with the Double Cleanse regimen that begins with PreCleanse.  Thoroughly melt away layers of excess sebum (oil), sunscreen, waterproof make-up, environmental pollutants and residual products that build-up on skin throughout the day with skin fortifying Olive, Kukui and Apricot oils.  It's also formulated with conditioning Rice Bran and Vitamin E oils, this gentle blend can be used around the eye area to even remove waterproof mascara.  Perfect for all skin types.

The PreCleanse Oil is really easy to use.  Simply massage in about a nickle size amount of the oil onto your dry face, making sure you cover your entire face, even your eyelids and lashes.  Once you feel satisfied you have covered your entire face you can add warm water and the oil will turn into a milky emulsion that you can continue to massage into skin to remove debris.  Then just rinse with warm water.  It will leave your skin feeling soft, clean and ready for your regular cleanser.

The PreCleanse Wipes are the same concept and they offer the same benefits as the PreCleanse Oil but come in handy, prefect for on-the-go cleansing, bio-degradable wipes!  I think the wipes are great, they work really well, they are less messy and they are especially great for travel but I prefer the Oil.  There is just something satisfying about massaging the oil into the skin and working out all the gunk that sits on your face all day!

For the most part my family and I eat fairly healthy.  That doesn't mean that we don't indulge once in awhile but we like to eat as clean and organic as possible.  If you follow my blog then you also know that I use supplements when I feel like I am not getting the nutrition I need from my food or to help with weight management.  So naturally, I was pretty excited to try out these Superfoods that Sari Foods sent me!  They sent me their Nutritional Yeast, Spirulina Powder and their Vitamin C Powder.
