**Thursday Thoughts on Friday**

Life has been a little crazy this week so my "Thursday Thoughts" post is happening on Friday instead!

It's been a tough week in general but for some reason I found it to be inspiring.  I have never been one of those people that expects things to just happen.  I have always been a believer in making things happen for myself!  When things don't go my way I find it inspires me to make changes.  Change is good and it's also necessary as far as I'm concerned.
I am hoping today's post will INSPIRE you!  Are you having a bad week and find yourself ready for a change?  Or, maybe your having a great week and you just need that little push to make that change you have been pondering.  Either way, make today that day!  Don't wait for something to happen, go out and MAKE it happen.  What are you going to make happen?
Happy Friday...

Wantable-Subscription Box Review

The lovely people at Wantable sent me this complimentary* box full of goodies to review.  If you haven't heard of Wantable yet be sure to check out their website for a detailed description here.  They have 3 styles of subscription boxes to choose from, Makeup, Accessories or Intimates.  You can sign up for the makeup subscription box for $36.00 (free shipping) or you can do a one-time purchase for $40.00.  Each box contains 4-5 full-sized products that are hand-picked from unique and premium brands just for you based on the answers you give to a few short questions.

Mirabella Palette & Eyeshadow Duo ($30)
In my makeup box I was lucky enough to receive the Mirabella reusable Pick 2 Colour Palette which is a fantastic reusable, magnetic palette that can be customized to hold 2 of your favorite eye color shades and it also includes mirror for easy application on the go! (I am using pics from the Mirabella website since mine did not do the product justice!)

I also received the 2 following eyeshadow colors, Poppy, a pretty shimmery champagne color and Vintage, a fun, shimmery wine color.

Vincent Longo Pressed Powder ($28):
I really love this Vincent Longo Pressed Powder!  I have not used a pressed powder for a long time since I discovered Mineral Veil by bareMinerals but trying out this pressed powder made me re-think pressed powder entirely!  I feel like this pressed powder is in a league all it's own.  It blended seamlessly into my mineral foundation and left a totally invisible matte finish.  This was a WIN for me!

SKIIN Instant Skin Tightener and Line Filler (?):
I also received a deluxe size sample of SKIIN Instant Skin Tightener and Line Filler.  I have loved all of the products by the SKIIN brand so I was excited to try this out!  I am not sure what the cost is since it is a sample but 0.5 ounces costs $39.95.  I applied the product around my eyes and it did seem to fill in some of my fine lines so that's a plus for me!  It's also known as "Plastic Surgery in a Bottle" and has rave reviews!

Liptini Straight Up Color Lipstick in Cognac ($18):
I am huge fan of Tini Beauty nail polish and had no idea they did lipstick too!  I love the bronze color of this lipstick, it's perfect for summer and the lipstick itself was really moisturizing.  As a bonus the brand is also cruelty fee & vegan.

A Wantable subscription costs $36.00 and I received a total estimated value of $83.00 in products!  That is a fantastic value.  If you are looking for a makeup subscription box that includes full-size premium makeup products then I would definitely recommend Wantable!  Again, you can check out all the Wantable subscription boxes for yourself using this link...

*Disclosure
I was not paid for this post and all impressions of each product are my own.

Must Have Monday-Sundance Clothing & Jewelry

It's "Must Have Monday" and I wanted to share one of my favorite sites to shop on.  Sundance has a lovely variety of clothing, jewelry and even household items.  I love the style and if I could afford it I would wear just about everything on the site!  If you have never heard of Sundance there is a nice story behind the start up of the company that was founded by Robert Redford in 1969 and you can read up on that here.

I wanted to share of few things that I love while keeping it all under $100.00.  While some of the pieces seem a little expensive I can assure you that the quality is reflective of the price.  In this case you really do get what you pay for.

First up I wanted to share this adorable Daphne Draped Tank with lace inset for $78.00.

Look at these cute Calligraphy Cropped Jeans for $98.00 that have fun embroidered swirls down the sides.

I am also loving these pretty Masala Flats for $70.00!

Or, how about these gorgeous Moon on the Water sandals for $68.00?

Now for the jewelry...I love, love, love their selection of jewelry!  Here are a few pieces that I have my eye on, again, all are under $100.00.

I am a huge fan of mixing gold & silver tones together and this Rainbow Moonglow Ring is a perfect example for just $48.00!

I am also loving this set of 4 Galaxy Rings for just $58.00.

What about this simple but elegant, sterling silver From the Heart Necklace for $98.00?  So pretty, right?

See, now you love everything Sundance too!  Do you currently own any pieces of clothing, shoes or jewelry that you purchased from Sundance?  I would love to see and hear about what you bought or plan on buying so leave me a comment below...

P.S.  You can also get an additional 2% Cash Back when shop Sundance through Ebates!

Zero Oil by Origins-Review

Zero Oil by Origins is a fantastic little product.  Even in my 40's I still struggle with oily skin.  I thought for sure I wouldn't have oily skin once I "got older".  Unfortunately, that has not been the case.  As a result, I am constantly on the hunt for products to combat my oily skin so I love finding something that actually works.  Thankfully, Zero Oil really does work!  I put it on over my primer and it creates a smooth matte finish that lasts at least 5 hours.  Considering I have VERY oily skin 5 hours is awesome!
At $15.00 a bottle I think it's a great value since a little goes a long way.  I think this bottle should last at least a few months or maybe even more.
Do you battle oily skin?  What is your go-to beauty product that helps you?  I would love to hear any suggestions you might have so please leave a comment below...

Thursday Thoughts

I don't know about you but my girlfriends are very important to me.  Like, "can't live without" kind of important.  I have to say that I have been very blessed in the friendship department.  I have had the same best friend for over 30 years (omg, I just really aged myself!) and several other best friends that I have had for a few decades and more still that I have had for several years.  I rely on my girlfriends for anything and everything and they do the same with me.  We have been through everything together, life, death, divorce, you name it.  If I go too long without seeing my girls I seriously start to have withdrawals.  Thankfully my husband knows how important my girlfriends are to me and is totally understanding when I say I need a "girls night" or a "girls weekend"
With that being said, I am officially in "girlfriend withdrawals" at the moment which is what inspired me to write this post about friendship for my "Thursday Thoughts".  I've been really stressed out waiting to move in to our new place and even though my husband has been great sometimes the only thing that helps is a night with my girls!
Are your friendships as important to you as mine are to me?  Do you have withdrawals too?  Please tell me I am not alone by leaving a comment below.  Also, what do you & your girlfriends like do when you get together for a girls night?
