My best friend recently decided to be in a body building competition so she is using all kinds of supplements, pre-workout powders, post-workout powders and protein powders and I've also heard her mention the supplement L-Carnitine quite a lot.

L-Carnitine basically helps the human body use fat as fuel.  It can also help support support workout recovery by reducing the accumulation of metabolic wastes during exercise, which enhances your ability to recover faster after workouts.

It's suggested to take 1 capsule twice daily of the L-Carnitine by Life Mastery.  I have been taking taking 1 capsule in the morning and 1 about 30 min. before a workout.  It's hard to know if the L-Carnitine has helped me loose any extra weight but I do feel like it has helped with my workout performance and recovery and that is all the proof I need to know that L-Carnitine works!

Bitpsy Professional Jumbo Lemon Squeezer-Review

I'll admit it as much as I like to make cocktails I've never used any kind of juicer/squeezer.  I usually just squeeze my Lemons and Limes by hand and thought that worked just fine.  Boy was I wrong!  After using this Professional Jumbo Lemon/Lime Squeezer by Bitpsy I now know what I have been missing out on.  

I recently used the Squeezer to make my Moscow Mules that I feature in a previous blog post and I was totally amazed at how well it worked.  I used fairly large limes and they fit perfectly in the Squeezer and I was able to get what seemed like every last drop of juice out of the lime!

The Bitpsy Professional Jumbo Lemon Squeezer is great quality and made from Stainless Steel so it won't rust or peel.  It's also super easy to clean, I just rinsed it off and threw it in my dishwasher!

I love this thing and cannot recommend it enough!

Here's another "Must Have" Vitamin C Serum to try out!  This one is by Complete Skin Solutions and it's a great option.  I just did a review on their Niacinamide Pure Vitamin B3 Serum and I really liked that as well, you can read my review on that, here.

I like that this Vitamin C Serum also contains Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin E and Ferulic Acid.  These ingredients combined with the Vitamin C work together to penetrate damaged skin and stimulate new collagen, reduce fine lines and wrinkles, lighten hyperpigmentation and create a more smooth and even toned complexion!
I have been testing out so many products on my face lately that it has become a little angry so I only tested this out on my neck, decollete and shoulders but I noticed a difference almost immediately.  My skin definitely seemed more plump, fine lines were less noticeable and the Melasma on my neck even lightened up!

Niacinamide or Vitamin B3 is a key anti-aging ingredient in a lot of skincare products these days because of the excellent effects it has on skin.  Niacinamide helps stimulate and boost collagen production and while diminishing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.  It also works great on hyperpigmentation issues which is one of my main skincare concerns.

So far I have been really impressed with the Niacinamide Pure Vitamin B3 Serum that Complete Skin Solutions sent me.  First of all I LOVE the fact that it does not contain any nasty Parabens or pore-clogging oils and that they are cruelty-free!

 The serum itself is actually really lightweight, non-greasy so it absorbs really quickly and it seems to be unscented which is always a good thing.  Plus, a little goes a long way and that is always a good thing!  Overall, this serum worked really well for me.  Especially since I deal with all of the skin issues that Niacinamide is good for like, aging, hyperpigmentation and acne.  After about 2 weeks use I noticed that my skin appeared to more smooth, my hyperpigmentation was not as noticeable and it even helped clear up a breakout!  That's a WIN for me!

I have become slightly obsessed with Derma Rollers and I have been trying out various needle sizes.  The needles sizes can range from 0.2 all the way up to to 3.0.  I'm not sure if they make them stronger than 3.0 but if they do I'm sure it's something only a doctor could get their hands on.  Each size is used to treat a specific range of  skin issues from acne, lines & wrinkles to scars and even stretch marks.  Basically they work by remolding the skin by creating thousands of microscopic channels through the skin, increasing the formation of new tissue by activating the body’s wound healing properties. Who doesn't loathe cellulite?  Who doesn't wish we could just make it disappear?  We might not be able to make it disappear (at least not without some extreme diet & exercise) but we can at least make it less noticeable.  I was a huge skeptic of Cellulite Creams and I am sure there are some out there that are a total scam but I have tried & reviewed a few now and I have had impressive results with all of them.

Most recently I was sent this Cellulite Cream by Spalon Tech to review for them and I've been using it for the last couple of weeks.  The Go Bare cream has really made a difference in the appearance of my skin.  It looks and feels a little more firm but most of all it looks more smooth and that's a WIN for me!

Don't be fooled and think a cream is magically going to make your Cellulite disappear but I do know that a good cream can make it less noticeable.  So, if you looking to wear those cute shorts and dresses this summer but aren't exactly happy with how those legs are looking I would recommend a Cellulite Cream like this one that has been tried and tested by "normal" people that have "normal" results!

I am a newcomer to the Pura d'or brand so I was looking forward to trying out their shampoo, conditioner and Argan Oil.  Pura d'or is all about creating organic personal care solutions that work naturally.  I love that as a mission statement.  I am really trying move towards only using all natural and organic products and being able to test out products from brands like Pura d'or reinforce why natural and organic is the only way to go!

Even though I do not have issues with hair loss I loved how the Premium Organic Argan Oil Based Hair Loss Prevention Therapy Shampoo helps create thicker hair and I think helping prevent hair loss is something that can only be a good thing.  I really like how it smells fresh and clean.  It also makes my hair feel fresh and clean!  I know the Argan Oil in it also helps nourish my hair.  Of course it is also free from harsh chemicals!

The Premium Organic Argan Oil Based Conditioner smells really amazing thanks to the Lavender Vanilla scent.  It also leaves my hair feeling hydrated, soft, silky and shiny! It's also free from harsh chemicals as well.

I am already an Argan Oil fanatic because it's a great multi-tasker!  You can use Argan Oil from head to toe!  It's a great moisturizer, helps diminish the look of fine lines and wrinkles and helps reduce scarring and stretch marks.  It also works wonders on damaged hair.  It helps repair split ends and calms frizzies and flyaways!  I can also say that it is comparable to the Josie Maran Argan Oil but at half the cost!

Overall, I am super impressed with Pura d'or Hair & Body Care as a brand and with their products!  I love that they use natural and organic ingredients and that the produce results!  After all, I am a results driven kind of girl!

For the most part I'm okay with having some scars.  Scars tell a sort of story about who you are as an individual and about the things we've endured.  However, I do have a couple that I really wouldn't mind it they vanished!  So, I decided I would try out this Advanced Scar Gel that InstaNatural sent me to review for them.

I have a few scars on my hands which are the result of me deciding I could break up a few dog fights with my hands.  Obviously, not the best or smartest idea I ever had but it's one of those things I almost don't have control over, it's just instinct and I don't even think about it.  I hate to say it but it's something I would probably end up doing it again.  There is one scar in particular that's really not that big of deal but I wanted to test out this Scar Gel and see what kind of difference it could make.
