Two things I am a total sucker for...skincare products and anything organic!  So, naturally I LOVE this Anti Acne / Anti Blemish Treatment Gel by Elba Naturals!  At 41 years old I can't say that I have Acne but my skin is still very oily and I am definitely blemish prone so I really have to be careful about what products I put on my face.
As far as breakouts I will get the occasional blemish or two, especially if I am testing out any heavy creams but for the most part I usually only get hormonal breakouts once a month when Aunt Flow is visiting (if you know what I mean...lol).  Either way, this Anti Acne / Anti Blemish Treatment Gel by Elba Naturals works perfectly.  Not only does it smell amazing, if you like the smell of cloves like I do but I love what it does for my skin.  It's a lightweight gel that absorbs quickly and easily and even helps give skin a little matte effect which I need since I have oily skin.  However, the matifying effect isn't extreme so it would work on any skin type.  The gel also helps soothe and heal any current breakouts and helps any new ones from forming.  The Anti Acne / Anti Blemish Treatment Gel by Elba Naturals has found a permanent home among my other skincare favorites!
This is truly a great product that I would recommend for any skin type and even if you just use it for the occasional breakout if your blessed with normal skin.  I have tried several Elba Naturals products now and I continue to be impressed and cannot wait to see what they come out with next!

To maintain my weight I try and replace some of my meals with a healthy smoothie.  Depending on the day and what I am in the mood for it may be a green smoothie or if I am feeling like I need some extra protein (which is more often than not) I like to choose a healthy protein powder.  My go to flavor is Vanilla since you can pair it with just about anything.

1 cup Rice Milk or Almond/Coconut Blend Milk (Organic if possible)

1 tbsp Organic Ultra Dark Cocoa Powder
1 tsp Organic Vanilla Bean Powder
1 tbsp Wild Friends Organic Honey Sunflower Butter (You can sub. Almond Butter or Peanut Butter if there are no nut allergies like there is at my house)
1 very ripe Organic Banana
1 cup Ice.
Blend well and add water to thin out if needed.  It's super delicious, satisfies my sweet tooth and keeps me feeling full for hours.  It's a Win, Win!

If you have ever had a Moscow Mule both in a normal glass versus a Copper Mug then you already know that the ONLY way to have a Moscow Mule is in a Copper Mug.  If it's not made in a Copper Mug then don't even bother with it.  They don't even taste the same when it's in a normal glass.

This past year I have had my fair share of Moscow Mules and they are definitely one of my favorite cocktails.  However, I found another cocktail that is as equally delicious as my beloved Moscow Mule.  It's called a Strawberry Basil Lemonade and I found the recipe for it over on the thekitchn.com, you just need to adjust some of the measurements to make sure that it fits into your Pure Copper Hammered Moscow Mule Mug by Stubborn Mule instead of a 16 oz. glass!  Make sure you try this one out, it's not only delicious but super refreshing.

Strawberry Basil Lemonade

1 Copper Mug

3 strawberries - de-stemmed

5 basil leaves

1.5 ounce Smirnoff Strawberry Vodka

1 ounce Island Oasis Strawberry Puree (or just pureed strawberries)

Fill with Lemonade (I use Organic Lemonade)

Muddle 3 strawberries - de-stemmed, with the five basil leaves and Smirnoff in a 16-ounce glass. Mix Strawberry Vodka, and Island Oasis Strawberry Puree in mixing glass or martini shaker. Add ice, shake for 15 seconds and pour into glass. Fill with lemonade and stir.

Garnish with extra strawberry and basil.

You know I love my oils!  Thankfully it seems like I keeping coming across ones that I've never tried and that I get to test out.

Recently, I have been testing out this 100% Pure Cold Pressed Pomegranate Seed Oil by BEAUTYOILS.CO.  I've tried several other oils by BEAUTYOILS.CO so I am very familiar with the brand and I'm always impressed with the quality of their oils.  This Pomegranate Seed Oil does not disappoint!  I am already testing out enough stuff on my face so I decided I would use this primarily on my the rest of my body.  Apparently, Pomegranate Seed Oil is really good to use on  various skin irritations and inflammation, including dry skin, eczema, psoriasis and even sunburned skin.  I don't currently have any of those issues but I can tell you it worked amazingly well as an all over body moisturizer!  I like to apply the Pomegranate Oil right after I get out of the shower while my skin is still a little damp.  It is absorbed into the skin fairly fast and leaves it feeling hydrated, soft and smooth and doesn't leave any greasy residue.  Since it was so hydrating I also started using the tiniest little bit around my eyes just before bed to help soften fine lines.

I have yet to meet an oil that I don't like and I am glad to add this Pomegranate Oil by BEAUTYOILS.CO to my growing list of oils that I love!

Tip:  Use a little on the ends of you hair to help mend split ends too!

Chances are you have probably heard about Activate Charcoal in one form or another, unless of course you've been stranded on a deserted island for the past year and then maybe this is the first time your hearing about it!

Activated Charcoal has many uses but primarily my interest lies in the ways you can use it as it pertains to beauty and skincare, for obvious reasons.

Truth be told this is my first experience with the powder version of Activated Charcoal.  I have used countless beauty products like masks and Konjac Sponges that contain Activated Charcoal but I have never experienced in it's raw form.

One thing you should know about Activated Charcoal Powder is that it is very, very messy!  It's actually not a big deal but just know you'll need to give everything a good wipe down when your done.  My favorite thing to do with this Activated Charcoal Powder by Zen Charcoal is to make a detox mask.  You can really customize the mask depending what is going on with your skin but I like to mix the Activated Charcoal, Water (sometimes I use Rose Water or a little Apple Cider Vinegar), Aloe Vera and if I am really wanting a good detox I will add a few drops of Tea Tree Oil but you can add any essential oil.  Depending on how thick you want the mask to be you simply add less or more water.  I mix everything really well, apply to skin using a brush (way less messy) and then let it dry for 15-20 minutes and rinse off.  Skin feels clean, soft, smooth and detoxed!  It's one of my favorite DIY masks!

Tip:  I purchased a DIY Mask Bowl set from Amazon it comes with a small bowl, measuring spoons, spatula and brush all for the low, low price of $2.21 + free shipping!  It's been a life saver and I highly recommend getting one for yourself if you like to mix your own masks like I do!
