Wild Tea by Wild Foods

I love all things Tea but not all Tea is created equal. I mean I have had some bad Tea in my life. But, trying out different kinds of Tea is one of my favorite things to do.
I also love it when I discover a new fabulous brand of Tea and this Wild Tea by Wild Foods is definitely a new fav!  Wild Foods is start up located in Austin, Texas that specializes in real food ingredients where they come from, how they are made and how they fuel us for health and performance and it clearly comes across in their Wild Teas.
I tried out three very distinct flavors, Organic Coconut Chai Rooibos, Organic Green Jasmine and Hibiscus Mint and I cannot pick a favorite because they were ALL delicious and they all provided a variety of different health benefits!

The Coconut Chai Rooibos has great flavor with a blend of ginger, coconut flakes, cloves, safflower, crushed chilis and other organic flavorings.  Wild Food recommends that you drink the Coconut Chai Rooibos an after dinner tea.  It not only helps curb fatigue after a meal but it will also help settle your stomach and aid in digestion.  Additionally it contains cinnamon which has a insulin-curbing effect and helps to reduce the amount of calories that are stored as fat following your meal.

The Organic Green Jasmine is the perfect antioxidant Tea.  It helps improve blood flow, lowers cholesterol, helps reduce heart-related issues and high blood pressure.  For a skincare addict like myself this might a favorite just because this Organic Green Jasmine also helps prevent wrinkles and signs of aging due to the anti-inflammatory activities of the many compounds included.  It contains vitamins A, D, E, C, B, B5, H, K, Carotene, Folate, Manganese and Potassium.

The Hibiscus Mint is the perfect "anytime" Teas since it's caffeine free and it just smells amazing so naturally it tastes pretty amazing as well.  This Tea is another one that is full of antioxidants and it also has hypocholesterolemic and antihypertensive properties.  The antioxidants can help fight off the damage done by free radicals inside your body.
I actually enjoy drinking this one cold and on ice, it's super refreshing because of the Mint!

It's pretty safe to say that I am officially a Wild Foods fan and can't wait to try more of their products!  Go to wildfoods.co and check out all their products and try out some of their amazing Tea for yourself.  You can also find their Teas over on Amazon...
