While I've used Neem Oil in the past it's been awhile so I decided to take a second look at it. I didn't know much about Neem Oil other than it worked really well as a therapeutic treatment oil. So, I decided to do a little research and found that Neem trees are actually native to India and other parts of Asia. They are known as a Margosa Tree in English and their botanical term is Azadirachta Indica.
Neem Oil has been used in India since thousands of years and is used in many medicines for its disease fighting properties. Another thing I didn't know that I find fascinating is that every part of the Neem tree is beneficial and can be used because of the anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and anti-parasitic
properties they contain.
Who knew it was SO beneficial! I have been using this Neem Oil by Oleavine for just about everything lately. However, our favorite way to use Neem Oil in our household is to treat my husband's Eczema (works amazingly well for Eczema), for minor cuts and scrapes, bug repellent and it works amazingly well on Acne flare ups! I will warn you and say that Neem Oil has a very distinct smell and it's not all that great, it's a cross between earthy and antiseptic smelling. I don't mind the smell but my husband isn't crazy about it at all. But, I guarantee the benefits are totally worth it!
Neem Oil can help reduce redness, inflammation and swelling, removes impurities and tightens pores, helps to lighten hyperpigmentation, deeply moisturizes skin and it can even diminish fine lines and wrinkles! Plus, it's great for all skin types and is non-comedogenic.
Overall, Neem Oil is a great product to have around. It has countless uses and the best part is it's all natural. I highly recommend this Neem Oil by Oleavine for it's superior quality. It's 100% natural, cold-pressed, unrefined and solvent-free.
properties they contain.
