As someone who has aging but oily skin I know how hard it is to find a moisturizer that can deal with all the aspects of aging like fine lines, wrinkles, sun damage and uneven texture while not being too heavy and adding to my oily skin problem.  And yes, oily skin does need to be moisturized!

Over the years I have been able to find a few that I really like and use on a regular basis.  However, they are usually moisturizers/creams that are made for problematic skin and not necessarily aging skin.  While those worked for me just fine I haven't really been able to use a true anti-aging face cream or moisturizer except at night because they tend to be too heavy for day time use on my oily skin.

Just when I thought all hope was lost in finding my perfect face cream Jan Marini Skin Research saves the day!  Their Transformation Face Cream is exactly what I've been searching for!  It's formulated to help with all visible signs of aging while providing hydration and suppleness to the skin.  It also offers all the benefits of a heavier face cream but it's actually very lightweight, absorbs quickly and helps balance out my oily skin.  It's perfection!  It also works seamlessly with their other serums and their Antioxidant Daily Face Protectant SPF 33.  My skin just seems to look and feel younger, softer and smoother every time I use it.  Plus, it's great for all skin types, even Acne-Prone! 

I would say this is my new Holy Grail face cream!  But, don't just take my word for it.  It's such a great face cream that it won the 2017 ASCP Skin Deep Readers Choice Award!  

In this case you really get what you pay for. It's definitely one amazing anti-aging cream but it's also a little pricey.  It retails for $105.00 for a 1 oz. jar.  Even with a steep price tag I can't recommend it enough.  If it's in your budget I would definitely check it out, I promise, you won't be disappointed!

When it comes to sunscreen for my face I usually use foundation that contains SPF since I've never really found an actual sunscreen that I love enough to use everyday.  I've just always had a hard time finding a sunscreen for my face that works well with my oily skin.  Most of the sunscreens that I've tried are too thick and leave my skin feeling extra greasy and that's just not a good look!

Then in comes Antioxidant Daily Face Protectant SPF 33 to save the day!  I must admit, even as much as I love every product I've ever tried from Jan Marini Skin Research and even though they promised this Antioxidant Daily Face Protectant SPF 33 to have additional oil control capabilities I was still skeptical.  After all, I've tested hundreds if not thousands of products so I've become accustomed to being let down.  However, being the beauty blogger and product tester that I am I knew I had to try yet again and I am so glad I did.  This SPF is a total game changer for me.  I have been using it over the Transformation Face Cream also by Jan Marini Skin Research (which is another amazing product & a review of that will be on the blog soon so stay tuned!) and under my Bare Minerals foundation and the result is...I could not be happier.  I think I have finally found the perfect combination of products that will protect and treat my skin while keeping my oil in check at the same time!  Miracles really do happen!

The Antioxidant Daily Face Protectant SPF 33 by Jan Marini Skin Research is not your average sunscreen.  It's everything they claim it to be and more.  Not only does this sunscreen provide broad spectrum UVA and UVB protection to minimize the risk of cancer and provide protection but it's also enhanced with antioxidants.  So it also helps treat sun damaged skin as well.  Plus, it's lightweight, goes on like a moisturizer and is easily absorbed and it's Water Resistant up to 80 minutes.  Then there is my favorite part which is the microscopic particles of amazingness that help with oil control.  Genius!
