Lemongrass has recently become one of my favorite Essential Oils.  I have been doing research on Essential Oils in general and was surprised to find that Lemongrass Essential Oil has quite a few more benefits than I had previously thought.

I've been using Jan Marini products on and off for years and I've always been impressed with the quality of the products and the results they deliver.  The newest addition to the Jan Marini skincare arsenal is their Hyla3D and it's definitely a stand out product and I feel so lucky that I was able to test it out first hand.
The Hyla3D by Jan Marini is basically age rewind in a bottle.  Developed with impressive anti-aging ingredients like peptides, antioxidants and numerous forms of Hyaluronic Acid this serum is exactly what you need if want to look a few years younger than you do right now.  The powerful ingredients work synergistically to help increase hydration levels in the skin, boost collagen and also improve elastin.  All of which will reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and give skin a more plump, rejuvenated and youthful look.
This has been my go-to serum for my morning and evening skincare routines for the past couple of weeks.  I use the serum right after I have properly cleans and tone my skin and before I apply my moisturizer.  It's recommended to use all over the face and neck but because it's a little on the expensive side I've only been applying this super hydrating Hyla3D serum to the places where I am starting to see signs of aging which is primarily around my eyes, neck and decollete.  I've already noticed a significant improvement on my decollete, which is where I am showing the most signs of aging and also around my eyes.  After just a couple of weeks I've noticed that my skin looks more smooth, supple and dare I say....a little younger looking!!  I'm impressed!

Self tanners have come a really long way.  Even so, I'm pretty picky about which ones I use.  They have to look natural, fade gradually and evenly and not have that annoying smell that a lot of self tanners have AND contain quality ingredients.  I've only found a couple that meet my requirements and this Organic Self Tanning Oil by Golden Star Beauty is one of them.

This cruelty free self tanner is made with Organic ingredients like Jojoba oil, Avocado Oil, Macadamia Oil, Calendula and Meadowsweet Extracts.  It's also free of nasty chemicals, formaldehyde and parabens.  Plus, it's also cruelty free!
Not only does it give your skin a healthy natural looking tan but it also doubles as a moisturizer thanks to all the hydrating ingredients and added Hyaluronic Acid.  No tanning mitt needed!  This tanning oil will immediately soak into skin leaving it feeling soft and silky.  I like to apply it after I shower and before bed.  While in the shower I make sure to exfoliate using a nice body scrub like the Coconut Milk Body Scrub you see below, to help me achieve the most even, natural looking tan possible.  Since I apply before bed I'm not exactly sure how long the color takes to develop but I'm assuming it's a couple hours until it reaches full color.  There is no streaking, no staining of clothes or sheets you just have a beautiful tanned glow!

I had no idea that Mercedea Benz made fragrances?!  This one is the Mercedes Benz Rose and it's lovely.
I'm not really a big floral person so I was a bit worried when I ordered this from fragrancemarket.us that it would be too overpowering.  However and thankfully, the website is very descriptive and listed Lemon, Black Currant as Top Notes, Elemi Shades, Rosewood as Middle Notes and Amber, Cedar, Rosewood, and White Musk as the Base Notes so I felt really comfortable placing my order.
I was amazed at how user friendly the website is.  I just typed "Rose" into the search box and up came all the products that they carry that contain Rose, which is surprisingly a lot!  Plus, they have a wide selection of men's fragrances as well.  Their prices are exactly what I would expect when purchasing a luxury brand fragrance but they also had a coupon code to help me save some cash and that's always a good thing!

Mercedes Benz Rose might just be my new signature scent!  What comes to mind when I think of this fragrance is luxury, sophisticated, fun and flirty.  Which could probably be used to describe one of their cars too!!  It's light and I think it blends nicely with my body chemistry which is always a bonus when it comes to picking a scent.

If you follow my blog then you probably know how picky I am about what I put on my face.  Being 43 with oily and blemish prone means I can't just slather on any ol' face cream that comes my way.  If it's too think in consistency then I usually just use it around my eyes, neck and decollete when I am testing it out.  Otherwise, my face just becomes a greasy mess.

So, when I come across an anti-aging cream that's lightweight, absorbs quickly, repairs fine lines and wrinkles, helps even out skin tone and smooths skin texture I get a little excited!  This SolaMetixs Anti-Aging Hydrating Cream by Palm Beach Pure is one of those creams and I'm in love.
Developed with advanced hydration technology and potent anti-aging ingredients this leaves my skin feeling plump and hydrated while it softens my fines lines as well as feeling really refreshed.  It wears really well under makeup so you could skip a primer if you have a more normal skin type.  You can use this as part of your morning and evening skincare routines but I have only been using it in my morning routine, tying to make it last!  I've only been using this a few weeks so I haven't seen any dramatic difference in the areas where I have discoloration but I would use this moisturizer even if it didn't help with those issues.
Overall, this is a fantastic anti-aging moisturizer that I would recommend for all skin types!  However, it is a little pricey at $89.00 for 30ml.  If you can fit it into your budget then this is a MUST HAVE!
