If you are an all natural, organic skincare lover like myself and you haven't experienced Brittanies Thyme then you definitely are missing out on some wonderful products!  Not only are they wonderful products but they are also extremely affordable.  These products prove there is no need to spend a fortune to get good quality products that work!  If I had to explain Brittanies Thyme products in three words they would be Organic, Simple and Exceptional.

Brittanies Thyme was nice enough to send me a few products a few months back and I instantly fell in love with all of them.  Here is what I've been loving and why...

 Organic Citrus Facial Cleanser

I was only sent a sample size of this little gem but I became a fan after just one use.  This soap free cleanser is made using only the best quality organic ingredients possible and I think that's what makes this cleanser so good.  It contains skin loving ingredients like Organic Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, *Organic Jojoba Seed Oil, Organic Witch Hazel and Organic Rosemary Extract among others.  It cleanses the skin without drying it out, in fact, skin actually feels hydrated after using this cleanser.  I really enjoyed using this cleanser and used up every last bit of the sample I was given.  I loved it and plan on adding the full size to my cleanser collection.  I would highly recommend this Organic Citrus Facial Cleanser for all skin types.

 Organic Balancing Toner

Now this was the stand out product for me!  I absolutely LOVE this Organic Balancing Toner.  I love everything about.  It smells wonderful and it makes my skin look and feel wonderful too!

Formulated with Organic Witch Hazel, Organic Peppermint Oil, Organic Sweet Orange Oil and Organic Rose Flower Oil it perfectly removes any remaining residue, soothes irritated skin while balancing it out and hydrating it all at the same time.  I really love the addition of the Peppermint Oil, it feels so refreshing!  It's especially nice to use in the mornings when you just need a little extra something to help wake you up.  Once again, I would highly recommend this for all skin types!  Retails for $12.95 for 4oz.

Organic Eye Oil

I love this Organic Eye Oil!  I am one of those that loves a good eye balm or eye oil and this for my night time routine or if I am just going to be hanging around the house all day.  I tend to have a dry under eye area so this is like heaven in a bottle for me.

Made with Organic Sweet Almond Oil and Vitamin E all you need is just a little drop to do both eyes.  A little goes a long way.  Plus, you don't want to over do it and end up getting the oil in your eyes, I speak from experience!  It doesn't hurt, you just have a little blurred vision for a few minutes. :)

Upon application the skin around your eyes feels nourished, hydrated and soothed!  If you suffer from dry under eyes like me or if you are concerned with fine lines and wrinkles then this is a MUST HAVE product!

Organic Protective Facial Moisturizer

This is another product that I only received a sample of but of course I ended up loving it after just the first use as well.  

I'm 43 so so you would think I would need some thick, anti-aging cream to use for my day to day moisturizer but that could not be further from the truth.  I may be 43 but I have very oily skin that can be sensitive to break outs if I put anything too heavy on it so I tend to be really picky about the kind of moisturizer that I put on my face.  This Organic Protective Facial Moisturizer is everything I look for in a facial moisturizer.  It's lightweight, absorbs quickly and easily, doesn't clog my pores and wears nicely under makeup!

Comprised of the perfect ingredients like Organic Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Organic Jojoba Seed Oil, Organic Rice Bran Oil, Organic Hemp Seed Oil and Organic Peppermint Oil just to name a few it hydrates, nourishes and leaves skin looking and feeling soft.  The perfect moisturizer that I would recommend for all skin types.

Organic Sensitive Facial Serum

This was another sample size that I received but knew instantly that this was one I would need to get in a full size.

Everyone should have a nice well rounded serum in their skincare collection and this one would be perfect for anyone on the fence about what kind of serum to use.  Formulated with Organic Jojoba Seed Oil, Organic Apricot Kernel Oil, Organic Rice Bran Oil and many other quality, organic ingredients this has the look and feel of a really expensive serum.
This Organic Sensitive Facial Serum is deeply nourishing and hydrating without making skin feel greasy.  It absorbs beautifully, plumps and softens the skin and makes fine lines and wrinkles less noticeable.  A great serum for any skin type!

French Green Clay Facial Mask with White Tea

I'm basically a sucker for just about any kind of mask.  I think using some type of mask a few times a week is essential for great skin.  As someone who still struggles with oily skin I'm partial to a clay mask which is part of the reason that I love this French Green Clay Facial Mask with White Tea so much.  The other part is that it's a great mask that does great things for my skin!  Developed with French Green Clay and Organic White Tea this mask draws out any impurities hiding in the pores, exfoliates dead skin cells and helps rejuvenate and detoxify run-down skin.  After just one use skin feels restored.  For optimal results I recommend following up with their Organic Sensitive Facial Serum!

The quickest and easiest way to achieve younger looking skin that feels as good as it looks is by exfoliation.  That being said there are a multitude of ways to exfoliate from chemical to using an actual tool to get the job done.  I find that the quickest and easiest is way to accomplish the level of exfoliation I desire is through chemical exfoliation.  Chemical exfoliation comes in many forms but the most common is hydroxy acids, like Lactic Acid, Salicylic Acid and Glycolic Acid.  Retinol is also another common form.

This Multi-Vitamin Recovery Facial Peel uses one of my favorite chemical exfoliators, Glycolic Acid.  Glycolic Acid works like a dream.  It's able to deeply penetrate the skin and help remove dead skin cells and reveal the fresh, new skin underneath.  That means it's highly effective at treating a variety of issues from fine lines and wrinkles to acne and hyperpigmentation.  The Peel also contains 24 karat gold (yes, that's right) and green tea to help boost collagen levels.

The best thing about this Multi-Vitamin Recovery Facial Peel is that it's so easy to use and you get instant gratification.  Simply apply the gel-like product to damp skin and rub gently in circular motion and watch the dead skin slough off.  Voilà, you instantly have younger, softer and smoother skin all in a matter of minutes!  Gentle but really effective!

I would recommend this for all skin types.  I would use it at least twice a week or more if your skin and bank account can handle it!

The only thing I don't like about this Multi-Vitamin Recovery Facial Peel is the price tag.  At a retail price of $195.00 it's definitely expensive and probably not something that will fit into every budget.  Which, I find unfortunate because that means not everyone will get to experience what a wonderful product it is. :(

Skin feels instantly hydrated upon application and even looks a little luminous.  Just like the Multi-Vitamin Recovery Facial Peel this cream also contains actual 24 karat gold which supports collagen production and that mean more youthful, supple skin.  It also incorporates Green Tea and Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil to assist in inflammation issues and to help improve skin elasticity.  Overall, skin looks younger, healthier and glowing.
Once again, the only negative thing I can say is that it's a pricey product.  Just like the Peel it retail's for $195.00.  If it fits into your budget then lucky you and I say go for it and buy them both.  You won't be disappointed!

Don't think this is just another Rosehip Oil because it's not.  It's so much more.  First of all, unlike the typical Rosehip Oil this one actually smells like Roses, not hay (which is what I think the average Rosehip Oil smells like).  The difference is that besides regular Rosehip Oil this has Bulgarian Rose Absolute Oil which is what gives it the amazing light Rose scent.  It also contains Jojoba Oil as well which doesn't really have a smell, it just adds to the luxuriousness of this oil as a whole.

Zenmed Skincare - The Perfect Products For My Oily & Pigmented Skin & Why You Should Try Them

I have to say a big "Thank you" to the lovely people at Zenmed for sending over a few of their products to test!  The best part is that they took the time to find out what my skin type was and sent over specific products to help me manage my biggest skincare concerns which are primarily oiliness and hyperpigmentation.  After a couple of months of usage I am finally ready to share my thoughts and enthusiasm about the products!

Facial Cleansing Gel

First up is their Facial Cleansing Gel.  This cleanser is part of their Acne Solution range.  While I don't have Acne I do have very oily skin that can be prone to breakouts, especially around that time of the month.  I find myself reaching for this cleanser over and over again.  It's a simple but effective gel cleanser that just gets the job done!  The best thing about this cleanser is that it's gentle and doesn't dry out my skin like other cleansers formulated for oily-acne prone skin can.  It removes all traces of dirt, oil and makeup residue and leaves my skin feeling fresh and clean.  It's also pH balanced so it's perfect for all levels of distressed skin, even Rosacea.  It's formulated with natural based ingredients so even those with sensitive skin types would benefit from it.  Retail cost $15.00.

This is a great cleanser that I would recommend for anyone who struggles with troubled skin or even if you have normal skin that just needs a little extra something once a month!

AHA/BHA Complex

This AHA/BHA Complex became a fast favorite.  First of all, I love the simplicity of toners that I can just spritz on.  Then there's just the fact that this is a really good toner.  It's alcohol free so it doesn't dry my skin out and it's formulated with alpha/beta hydroxy acid so it helps keep my pores clear and helps remove dead skin cells which means it also helps keep my pigmentation and blemish issues in check.

It works synergistically with the Facial Cleansing Gel and they make a powerful little duo.  I would say if you are dealing with any sort of blemish issue on a regular basis that these two products would make a big difference for you!  Retail cost $19.95.

I LOVE this Montmorillonite-clay based Derma Cleanse® Acne Mask & Spot Treatment and will probably always keep a tube around for those moments when my skin is out of control.  It's the type of clay mask that you can actually feel getting into your pores and going to work.  It heals face demons like no other and sucks out pore clogging impurities.  It also helps balance my over-active oily skin without stripping it and leaving it feeling dried out.  Skin is just healed and more balanced.  For those really pesky face demons this also works great for an overnight spot treatment!  Retail cost $24.95.

Unfortunately, I was only sent a sample size of this so I was only able to use it a few times.  Be that as it may, I knew it was a great product after just one use.  Developed for those with even the most sensitive skin types this exfoliator lightly but dramatically exfoliates dead skin cells and smooths out rough, dry patches.  That translates into fewer breakouts and less hyperpigmentation.  Plus, unlike other exfoliators this one is meant to not only get rid of dead skin cells but to also nourish and moisturize the skin at the same time.  Within minutes new, soft and hydrated skin is revealed!  Also, for us exfoliation junkies it's gentle enough to use everyday.  Retail cost $34.00.

Now this is a product that it essential for those of us with hyperpigmentation issues.  This is a serum that contains 2% Hydroquinone which is commonly used to help lighten pigmentation.  Although Hydroquinone is very effective it has a has a reputation as a controversial ingredient in the world of skincare.  However, it's been used for over 50 years and continues to be the most effective way to lighten skin.
For best results the Skincorrect+ serum is meant to be used with their Organic Cream Exfoliator or their Renewing MicroDermabrasion Complex but can also be used by itself.  If you suffer from pregnancy mask, age spots, sun damage or dark spots as a result of acne then this is one product that would greatly benefit you!  Formulated with antioxidants, Glycolic and Citric Acid the serum penetrates deep into the skin to help lighten dark pigmented areas.  It's also a skin lightening product that is recommended for all skin types and ethnicities dealing with pigmentation issues.

Overall, I love every product that I tried from Zenmed and cannot wait to try some more.  I also think for the quality of the ingredients used and how well the products actually work that they are extremely affordable.  I have other products that I have paid a lot of money for that haven't worked as well as these have.
The other great thing is that their products DO NOT contain any Parabens, Sodium Lauryl or Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Synthetic Dyes or Fragrances, Petrochemicals or any animal ingredients among other unpleasant ingredients.
