If you've been reading my blog for any length of time then you probably already know that I suck at sleeping.  Sleeping has just never been my thing.  Even when I was a kid I would be the one at a sleep over wide awake first thing in the morning even after staying up most of the night.  

I have tried and continue to try just about anything and everything from prescriptions to tea and I am always up for trying something new.

I was super curious about this Sleep by HempFusion and couldn't wait to get my hands on it.  I have been using it off and on for a couple weeks now.  I have been even more sleep deprived than usual since we got a new puppy.  Our new, sweet little boy has earned the nickname "devil spawn" because  he keeps getting me up several times a night and then taking forever to go back to sleep.  So, taking something to help me sleep through some of those times when they puppy wants me to get up has been necessary just to stay keep my sanity in tact.

I have been taking one Sleep by HempFusion capsule about an hour before bed and it definitely helps me de-stress and relax which means I actually fall asleep a lot sooner than I normally would.  Just being able to fall asleep more easily is a huge benefit for me.  I have trouble falling asleep and staying asleep so I need all the help I can get!

It's been hard for me to gauge whether or not it's helping me stay asleep since I am still being woken up by a puppy that I have to take outside to go potty (no, my husband is no help, he sleep's through everything!).  I will say that on the nights when I do take the Sleep by HempFusion and I have to get up several times throughout the night I find that I feel really groggy in the morning, even more so than usual.  To me that means it's working because if I was able to stay asleep instead of being woken up I feel I would be able to get a nice, restful, full nights sleep.  It definitely helps me get a few solid hours of sleep early on!  Needless to say, I am really looking forward to re-testing it when I know I don't have to worry about being woken up by a puppy every few hours.

Overall, I would say that this Sleep by HempFusion is worth checking out if you have any sort of sleeping issues!  I always prefer a more natural solution versus taking any sort of prescription and this is a great option.

As someone who has struggled with hyperpigmentation/Melasma issues for over 20 years it's safe to say I have tried just about every pigment corrector out there.  For the most part they have all worked on some level.  However, there are definitely a few stand out products that I've used and this LUMAPRO-C Brightening Pigment Corrector Serum by Hydropeptide is unequivocally one of those stand out products.

If you're like me and suffer from any form of hyperpigmentation like Melasma, pregnancy mask, sun damage or even acne pigmentation then this LUMAPRO-C is something you will want to check out.  It safely lightens pigment using ingredients like peptides, Vitamin C and microalgae while having results that are similar to prescription skin lightening products.

While this serum can be used in the morning and evening I tend to only apply to my decollete during the day and then at night I will apply to my face, neck and decollete.  As with any skin lightening product you need to make sure you are using an SPF.  Since most pigmentation issues are triggered by the sun you want to make sure your fresh, new, lighter skin is protected.
I apply this serum to freshly washed and toned skin and after I apply my thinner serums since this serum is a bit thicker.  Once this LUMAPRO-C Brightening Pigment Corrector Serum is fully absorbed I will follow with my respective day or night time oils and creams.
I tend to use some type of skin lightening product on a semi-normal basis so that I can keep my Melasma in check and this has been my go to product for the last several weeks.  I have really seen a difference in my decollete.  Several Melasma spots are much lighter or gone entirely, my skin texture looks more smooth and youthful.  I was in desperate need of a serious skin lightener like this one!
This LUMAPRO-C Brightening Pigment Corrector Serum by Hydropeptide does come with a fairly hefty price tag at $148.00 for 1 oz.  Which, is why I love this as a maintenance brightening serum.  For me, I feel like I can get away with maybe using a less pricey product for day to day use but this makes the prefect serum to use about every 2 months for a few weeks to really give skin a boost, clear up any pigementation issues and give skin a nice glow.   I am so happy to have discovered this and it makes a great addition to my skincare arsenal!!

This is just another great product by InstaNatural.  I've been using InstaNatural products for a few years now and I've yet to try one I didn't like.

Of course you should be wearing and SPF everyday but since this serum does help to lighten and brighten the skin then I would also recommend using a high SPF while using this or any skin lightening product.

I'm all for loosing weight the old-fashioned way, through diet and exercise but if I can take a supplement that will help ensure a more successful outcome then I am all about that too!

For the most part I usually have fairly good success with supplements that promise to help curb your appetite, boost energy and speed up metabolism.  So, for the past month I've been testing out this supplement, VivSlim Premium Weight Loss Capsule that promises to do just that and maybe even a little more.  

The VivSlim Premium Weight Loss Capsule has great reviews and seems to work for a lot of people however, for some reason it just didn't seem to do for me what it's done for others.  However, it did help me loose about 5 pounds over the last 4 weeks which I'm really happy about but it's not the 15-20 that I was hoping for.

This supplement is formulated with some potent ingredients like Lotus Leaf, Bitter Orange Fruit, Konjac Root, Cassia Seed which work together to help suppress the appetite, speed up metabolism and cleanse the bowels, among other things.  I definitely think that it does all of those things so in that regard it does work.  It just may be a little bit of a stretch so say you can loose up to 25 lbs in 4 weeks.  I think the only way that would be possible is if your bowels were seriously backed up and then you would just be looking at loosing waste weight, not actual fat loss.

If similar supplements like this VivSlim Premium Weight Loss Capsule seem to work for you too then this one is worth checking out.  Another thing that I liked about this supplement is that you can take it on an empty stomach.  I have a fairly sensitive stomach so I usually have to eat before I take any supplements but I was able to take this one first thing in the morning without it upsetting my stomach.  I think a lot of people have the same sensitivity issues when it comes to supplements like this so if that's you then that would be another reason to check this one out!
