When I first received this product I assumed it was for the eye area.  After I used it a few times and realized how amazing it was I did a little more research and found that it's not just for the eye area.  It's actually meant to be used around the mouth and forehead as well and I have even been using it on my neck!

So, what is Close Up Instant Wrinkle Reducer & Treatment by Christie Brinkley Authentic Skincare?  Well, it's most similar to the SmartFX SmartEye Wrinkle Lift if you have ever used that product but I find Close Up to be a superior product and it can be used anywhere you have wrinkles that need to be smoothed out or puffiness that you need to get rid of.  It's a lightweight cream that is easily absorbed and it wears perfectly under makeup.  It literally just blurs out crow's feet, fine lines and wrinkles and leaves skin feeling more tight and firm.  So, say goodbye to those wrinkles, crow's feet, frown lines and smile lines!  #KillTheCrow

So, I have to admit this was my first ever experience with Pomegranate Seed Oil.  I feel like I have tried a ton of different oils but I am constantly surprised with what other oils are out there and I have yet to discover!  

Pomegranate Seed Oil is suitable for all skin types however after using it for awhile I think it would work best on dry or mature and aging skin.  It absorbs fairly quickly but it is an oil that is a little on the thicker side which is why I decided I would use it primarily around my eyes, neck and decollete.  If you follow my blog then you already know that even though I am 42 I still struggle with very oily skin and I found this Pomegranate Seed Oil a little too intense for the skin on my face.  However, it worked amazingly well everywhere else and as an occasional "Sleeping Mask" for my face.  When I would use it I night my skin was super soft and plump in the morning!  Besides being an effective moisturizer and skin plumper it also helps to improve skin tone, increase elasticity and of course it can also prevent the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles!  #KillTheCrow

Jojoba Oil is one of my favorite oils to use!  It's a universal oil that can be used just about everywhere.  It's one of the oils that works perfectly on my oily skin.  Jojoba Oil can actually mimic human sebum which is the oil that our skin naturally produces which makes Jojoba Oil the perfect facial oil for those of us with oily skin.  Basically, people with oily skin have an overproduction of sebum.  So, by using Jojoba Oil it can help trick the skin into thinking it's produced enough oil, thereby halting production of the natural sebum and resulting in balanced out skin.  Of course you must also make sure you are using a high quality and Organic Jojoba Oil like this Organic Jojoba Oil by Deluxe Botanicals.

Not only has this Organic Jojoba Oil by Deluxe Botanicals been great to use as my go to facial oil but I also love using on the ends of my hair to help control flyaways and repair split ends.  Sometimes people who have skin issues like clogged pores and blemishes don't realize that the products that they are using on their hair are directly effecting their skin. I recently did a review on another moisturizer that I have been loving for day time and this Divine Age Guardian Cream by Perfective Ceuticals is what I have been using and loving for my night cream.

You could totally use this as daytime moisturizer, however, it is a more intense moisturizer and since I already have oily skin I like to use it at night.  If you have dry, normal or combination skin this would work great for either daytime or nighttime.  The Divine Age Guardian Cream by Perfective Ceuticals also has a more luxurious feel to it, from the packaging to the cream itself it just feels high end and something I would expect from a higher price point night cream.

What makes this cream special is the anti-aging technology combined with potent anti-aging ingredients like Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF), Matrixyl (Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-4), Omega 3-6-9, Retinol and Ginseng Extract is formulated to hydrate, nourish, rejuvenate aging skin, stimulate collagen and diminish fine lines and wrinkles.  It also contains Licorice Extract so it helps even out skin tone and lighten hyperpigmentation, which is exactly what I need since I have Melasma!

For those of you readers that don't already know I happen to suffer from Melasma.  What is Melasma you ask?  Basically, it's a really annoying skin condition that causes spots of hyperpigmentation.  Usually, Melasma is found on the face neck & decollete area and some cases of Melasma can be more severe than others.  My case of Melasma is not severe but it's definitely noticeable and like I said before...really annoying.  Sun perpetuates Melasma so using sunscreen everyday is a must!  I wear 50 SPF on my face and neck everyday.  However, keeping my Melasma in check is a daily battle for me which is why I am constantly trying every lightening & brightening cream I can get my hands on.

Most creams, lotions and potions that promise to lighten & brighten rely on Hydroquinone which can be toxic and is banned in several countries.  Thankfully some companies like Everfairy take a more natural approach!  Bright On!
