Intensive Eye Therapy by NeoStrata

Results don't lie and this Intensive Eye Therapy by NeoStrata definitely delivers results!
It has also become one of my Holy Grail products!  I love everything about it.  I love the way it instantly absorbs and hydrates, it feels completely lightweight...so much so that I almost forget that I even put it on.  I love that it wears beautifully under makeup and of course most importantly I love how it smooths out my area, depuffs and diminishes my dark circles.  LOVE IT!!
As a tried and trusted brand I knew that NeoStrata would not disappoint in the eye cream department.  The Intensive Eye Therapy by NeoStrata contains unique ingredients like a SynerG Formula that helps to build and plump the skin, while NeoGlucosamine helps prevent uneven pigmentation, Hyaluronic Acid provides the hydration, Apple Stem Cell Extract helps your skin act like its younger self and many other potent ingredients that work synergistically to make one of the best eye creams I've ever tried.

But, don't just take my word for it.  Here is what participants reported in a clinical study after 4 weeks of twice daily application:

100% good spreadability, consistency, good color
100% feels lightweight
97% moisturizes/hydrates
97% easily absorbs
97% not irritating
97% compatible with makeup/foundation
94% eye area appears lifted
94% improves skin texture/smoothness
94% improves skin radiance
94% positive overall opinion of product
88% evens skin tone and color
88% skin looks brighter, more luminous
88% fine lines are less noticeable
88% wrinkles (crow's feet) are less noticeable
88% increases skin firmness/elasticity
87% reduces under eye puffiness
81% skin looks younger
77% reduces dark circles

Those are some pretty impressive results!  The one and ONLY thing that I don't care for is the price tag.  This amazing Intensive Eye Therapy by NeoStrata retails for $84.00 for 0.5 oz. so it's a little steep for my personal budget.  However, I don't think I can ever be without it now so I will have to treat myself whenever my budget allows, it's just that good!  If it's in your budget you simply must give it a try, I promise you won't be disappointed!  Plus, with the Holidays right around the corner it would make a great gift!

Make sure to head over to neostrata.com for more information on the Intensive Eye Therapy and while your there be sure to check on some of their other amazing products!

Renewing Foaming Facial Cleanser by Anavita

As a skincare addict and a beauty blogger I am constantly trying out various skincare products.  One of my favorite things to try out are cleansers.  I'm not really sure why but I find myself a little obsessed with cleansers, especially since they are only on your skin for a very limited amount of time.  However, I have found that using the right cleanser for your skin type can make a really big difference.  I like to rotate cleansers depending on what is going on with my skin and I use everything from Micellar Waters and Cleansing Balms to Clay based cleansers.
I love having a cleanser that I can use no matter what is going on with my skin and that is where this Renewing Foaming Facial Cleanser comes in.  It's really gentle thanks to the ingredients like Aloe Vera, Chamomile and Olive Leaf but don't the word gentle fool you.  This cleanser does a great job at taking off excess makeup, oil and the daily grime that can build up on the skin throughout the day.  It also does all of that without stripping the skin.  Skin just feels clean and refreshed!
I also love that it's made with 99.8% natural and 70% organic and doesn't contain any parabens, synthetic colors or fragrances, petroleum oils, phthalates or sulfates.  Anavita also never tests on animals!
This cleanser would be great for any skin type and would also be beneficial for teenage skin all the way up to aging skin.  It retails for $24.97 for 6 oz and can be found at anavitaskincare.com or over on Amazon.com...

Deep Moisturizing Hand & Body Lotion by Anavita

It's officially winter and it's also that time of year where most of us are reaching for just about any type of lotion to help soothe our dry skin, dehydrated skin.  I prefer to use a lotion that's thick and will help keep my skin hydrated all day.
This Anavita Deep Moisturizing Hand & Body Lotion isn't as thick as what I would typically go for but it definitely lasts all day!  It's light, non-greasy and can moisturize and soothe even the driest of skins.  Not only does it lasts all day but it leaves my skin feeling Soft and smooth.  It also works well on problematic skin.  My husband suffers from Eczema and this lotion helped reduce the redness, inflammation and also relieves the itchiness often associated with Eczema.
Also, i you have a sensitivity with scented lotion then this one would make a great option for you.  It's very lightly scented with just a touch of  Lavender and Lemon Oil which makes for a nice fresh scent that's barley detectable and something that the entire family can use.
Another reason why I've been loving this lotion is that it's made with natural and organic ingredients and it leaves out all those other nasty ingredients like parabens, preservatives, artificial dyes, chemicals, synthetic fragrances and phthalates among others.  It's also vegan and not tested on animals!

It retails for $24.97 for 8 oz. and can be found at anavitaskincare.com and over on Amazon.com...

Tools & Products to Renew Aging & Sun Damaged Skin as Seen on Afternoon Live

*Tools & Products to Renew Aging & Sun Damaged Skin as Seen on Afternoon Live

I am so excited to once again be joining Tra'Renee on the KATU Afternoon Live show! This time around I will be sharing some tools and products that I recommend to help rejuvenate aging and sun damaged skin.

First up are the tools that I recommend to help keep skin looking young and fresh. I have several beauty tools that I alternate into my skincare routine but the ones that I use on a regular basis are definitely my Derma Roller and my Dry Brush. I let my skin dictate which tool to use, however, when it comes to using a Derma Roller how often you use it also depends on what size the microneedles are. You can safely use a Derma Roller with 0.1mm needles 2-3 times a week. I like to use a Derma Roller with 0.5mm-1.0mm needles which means I can only use it 1-2 times per month. Dry Brushing can be done 1-2 times per week. I like to Dry Brush once a week and then skip a week and incorporate my Derma Roller. However, it's important to never combine these types of treatments so that your skin has time to heal.

Facial Focus Derma Roller

I love using a Derma Roller! I think it's the quickest and easiest way to rejuvenate your skin. If you have never heard of a Derma Roller it's basically a wheel covered in hundreds of surgical steel needles. These needles create tiny holes in the skin which makes your skin produce extra collagen and elastin to heal those tiny holes and speed up cell turnover. It will also allow your skincare products to reach deeper into the skin and really do what their made to do. The result is healthier, plumper and younger looking skin. Using a Derma Roller can help diminish the look of fine lines, wrinkles, enlarged pores, pigmentation, scars and other common skin problems.

It's important to start with a clean face and a clean Derma Roller and to not use it on any open wounds. After I cleanse my skin I like to apply a thin layer of Facial Spray with Aloe, Herbs and Rosewater, just enough to dampen the skin but you can also just use tap water. However, this wold also be a great time to apply your favorite hydrating serum. I don't recommend using any serums with Vitamin C Serums or anything with Retinol while you are using a Derma Roller since it can possibly over irritate the skin. To being Derma Rolling just roll the DermaRoller across the skin diagonally, horizontally, and then vertically. You don't need to apply a lot of pressure but I like to press as hard as I can without it being too painful. I tend to focus more on my problem areas where I have pigmentation, fine lines and scars and that works best for me. I also take it down my neck and into my decollete area as well. The most important step is to follow up your Derma Roller treatment with a hydrating oil or moisturizer that's suited for your skin type. I like to apply the Tulasāra Radiant Oleation Oil by Aveda and once that is absorbed into the skin I follow it up with Honey Drop Moisturizer by Farmacy. I tend to do this as part of my nightly skincare routine and when I wake up my skin is plump, glowing and more youthful looking!

Lately, I have been using the 1.0mm Facial Focus Derma Roller which retails for $27.00. However, I have also purchased many Derma Rollers on Amazon.com for a lot less that work just as good. The 0.25mm Derma Roller by ORA retails for $19.99 and is a great choice if your new to micorneedeling. Make sure to clean your Derma Roller after every use with rubbing alcohol and it should be replaced after about 15 uses.

Tulasāra Radiant Facial Dry Brush

Dry Brushing is a ancient Ayurveda technique that helps exfoliate dead skin cells from the skin surface to promote skin cell turnover. It helps prep the skin to more easily absorb oils and moisturizers resulting in softer, smoother younger looking and feeling skin. In just one minute you can reveal fresh, new skin.
I've used other Facial Dry Brushes but this Tulasāra Radiant Facial Dry Brush by Aveda is by far the best one I've ever used and totally worth the investment. The brush retails for $44.00 but it's made with super soft nylon bristles which are formed in rounded, massaging peaks which works perfectly to lift skin and brush away dead skin. Perfection.
Dry Brush 2-3 times a week and again, it's important to follow with nice hydrating oil or moisturizer that is suited for you skin type. I always follow my dry brushing session with the Tulasāra Radiant Oleation Oil by Aveda which go hand in hand and the combination gives you a radiant and glowing complexion.

Tulasāra Radiant Oleation Oil by Aveda

This Tulasāra Radiant Oleation Oil by Aveda is the perfect follow up oil. Just a few drops is all you need to nourish, balance, hydrate and restore skin. However, this oil is not just for use with Derma Rolling or Dry Brushing this is a lightweight oil that is easily absorbed and can be used everyday. When not using with my Derma Roller or Dry Brush I like to use this as part of my nightly skincare routine. I gently press and then massage the oil into my face, neck and decolette. I always love how my skin looks in the morning. Soft, supple and glowing!
The Tulasāra Radiant Oleation Oil by Aveda retails for $49.00 for 1.7 oz.

Honey Drop Moisturizer by Farmacy

Help protect and your rejuvenated skin with this Honey Drop Moisturizer by Farmacy. This is a lightweight moisturizer which pairs perfectly with the Tulasāra Radiant Oleation Oil by Aveda. It also makes a great day to day moisturizer and gives skin a healthy, radiant glow. It also instantly hydrates and softens skin while improving firmness and elasticity.
The Honey Drop Moisturizer by Farmacy retails for $45.00 for 1.7oz.
 ExfoliKate by Kate Somerville

If your not into using a Derma Roller or a Dry Brush their are still plenty of options out there that will help shed dull, dead skin and give your skin a glowing, younger looking complexion. One of them is Exfolikate by Kate Somerville. Exfolikate is an exfoliating scrub the exfoliates away dead skin cells to reveal a more smooth, even toned complexion. Continued use also helps improve skin texture and helps diminish the appearance fine lines and wrinkles. Make sure to follow up with your favorite facial oil or moisturizer.
Exfolikate is a little pricey at $85.00 for 2 oz. but you only need to use a small amount 1-2 times a week so that 2 oz. will last quite a long time.

If a nice mask is more your speed then this exfoliating Charco Charcoal Mask by Essance is another great way to rejuvenate your skin. This mask contains natural and organic ingredients that help slough away dead skin and draw out impurities. After just one use you will have a soft, smooth and luminous complexion. Again, make sure you follow up with a facial oil or moisturizer of your choice.
The Charco Charcoal Clay Mask retails for $38.00 for 1oz. and even with using it 2-3 times a week it will last a good year or so.

Another great and less invasive option to renewing aging skin that specifically targets pigmentation like age spots, sun damage and old acne marks is this Skincorrect by Zenmed. Pigmentation can make you look years older than you really are so creating a even toned complexion is essential to looking more youthful. This is a potent serum full of antioxidants, Glycolic and citric acid which help fade pigmentation and even out skin tone.
This Skincorrect by Zenmed retails for $45.00 for 1oz.

Exuviance Evening Restorative Complex

If you have super sensitive skin or are just looking to gently improve the look and feel of your aging skin then this Exuviance Evening Restorative Complex is just what you need. This is not your average night cream. This potent moisturizer is full of anti-aging ingredients that will improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, increase elasticity and make your skin more soft and supple. This is also a great product to use in the evening after a Derma Rolling or Dry Brushing treatment.
The Exuviance Evening Restorative Complex retails for $48.00 for 1.75oz.

Anti-Aging Retinoid Face Oil by Geneva Naturals

If oil is more your thing then you will love this Anti-Aging Retinoid Face Oil by Geneva Naturals.  A lovely blend of nourishing and anti-aging oils this will give you a more even toned, youthful and glowy complexion.  This facial oil is gentle and can be used on a nightly basis.  The Anti-Aging Retinoid Face Oil by Geneva Naturals will help restore and repair your skin all while helping diminish the look of fine lines and wrinkles.
Anti-Aging Retinoid Face Oil by Geneva Naturals retails for $24.99 for 1oz.

Seabuckthorn Skincare Favorites by SBT Seabuckthorn

I've been dying to get my hands on these SBT Seabuckthorn products.  For years I've been hearing all about the amazing things Seabuckthorn can do for the skin so I was super excited to finally get to test out some products with this mysterious Seabuckthorn.

While I really liked all the products I have to say the stand out product was probably the After Sun Crème.  That's only because I got a pretty bad sunburn this summer and the After Sun Crème was my saving grace!  It helped cool and soothe my irritated, red, sensitive skin while keeping it ultra hydrated.  Instead of ugly peeling skin I ended up with a nice even tan and I know it had everything to do with this After Sun Crème.  Great product!
Retails for $18.00 for 2 oz.

Now, if you ask my husband his favorite product would be the Eczema & Dermatitis Soothing Salve.  He gets some really angry dry, itchy patches of Eczema and the Salve immediately helps soothe and hydrate his skin and it definitely helps heal them a lot quicker than some of the other creams he uses.  Plus, since it's a salve, so it lasts a really long time and helps keep the spots protected from further infection and irritation.  I also like to use it on my knees, elbows and heels.  It really helps keep my skin nourished and well hydrated. (Tip: Before bed, put a nice thick layer on your feet, paying special attention to your heels then cover with socks and wake up to soft & smooth feet!)
Retails for $18.00 for 4 oz.

I have to say I also loved the Anti-Aging Skin Cream.  If you love simple but effective skin creams then this would be right up your alley.  It's a great cream that quickly absorbs into the skin leaving it feeling soft, silky and of course, hydrated.  It's also jam packed with 100% pure Seabuckthorn oils that helps diminish fine lines and wrinkles.  Simple perfection.  I especially love using it on my neck and decollete.  I also have to mention that I really appreciate the simple packaging.  Most of my other Anti-Aging creams are in jars which can be a real pain to travel with.  I love that this comes in a user friendly tube.  It's the little things.  Besides, it doesn't hurt that it's a really good Anti-Aging moisturizer too!
Retails for $18.00 for 2 oz.

The next up is the Hand Cream.  I'm a sucker for a good hand cream and this is a great hand cream.  I love how my hands feel after using it.  I have extremely dry hands and nails and just one dime size amount of this Hand Cream and my hands instantly feel better.  Intensely hydrating without being greasy and leaves my hands feeling super soft and nourished.  I also love that it helps heal all the small paper cuts and hang nails I tend to get because of my job.  Plus, it smells pretty great too thanks to the added May Chang Oil which has a light citrus smell.  Love!
Retails for $18.00 for 2 oz.

Finally, the Muscle & Joint Pain Soothing Salve is one that it took me a minute to decide if I liked or not.  I had to use it a handful of times before I really realized how well it worked.  I suffer from A LOT of neck and back pain and have tried pretty much everything under the sun to help alleviate the pain that comes with neck and back problems.  Most of the products that I use have that underlying Menthol or Camphor feel and smell to them and I am actually kind of partial to that feel and smell because it makes me think it's really working.  This Muscle & Joint Pain Soothing Salve doesn't have that so I wasn't sure if it was really working or not but I'm here to tell you that it really does work.  This has become my product of choice while I'm at work.  A little goes a long way and it doesn't have that overpowering Menthol smell.  It's perfect for those mid afternoon neck and shoulder aches and pains.  I just massage a little into my neck and shoulders and within minutes I feel it all melting away.  The secret is in the sauce!  It of course contains Seabuckthorn but it also has Plai, Sweet Birch (which is a natural Aspirin), Sweet Marjoram and Rosemary Oils which all help with inflammation and help to soothe sore and achy joints and muscles.
Retails for $18.00 for 4 oz.

Somehow I just knew that I would love these products.  I love that they contain all natural and organic ingredients, I love that they work and work really well and that they are really affordable.  SBT Seabuckthorn has a wide range of products.  These 5 are just a small portion of what SBT Seabuckthorn has to offer so I am definitely going to be getting my hands on some others to test out!
Make sure you check out sbtseabuckthorn.com for more information on these or any of their other products!

C-ESTA Serum by Jan Marini Skin Research

As a blogger I've tried A LOT different Vitamin C Serums but this C-ESTA Serum by Jan Marini Skin Research is by far the best I've ever used.  It's also the most expensive I've ever used at price tag of $105.00.  However, I've found that when it comes to a good Vitamin C serum you get what you pay for.  Sure, you can buy much cheaper versions of Vitamin C Serum and have some pretty great results, I know I have.  But, if your looking for a serum that will help with smooth out uneven texture, diminish wrinkles and fine lines, firm and tighten skin and help lighten and brighten your complexion then you need this C-ESTA Serum in your life!  Plus, I started to see a difference in my skin texture and pigmentation after just a few days of continued morning and evening use!  It usually takes at least a week or more to notice even a slight difference with the other Vitamin C Serums that I've used.  Seeing such great results so quickly is just another reason that this C-ESTA Serum is worth the extra $.
The C-ESTA Serum by Jan Marini Skin Research is formulated with Ascorbyl Palmitate (Vitamin C), Hyaluronic Acid, DMAE and Vitamins (B5 & E) and other powerful ingredients.  Those exceptional ingredients make this serum a potent antioxidant, anti-aging rock star!  It's also perfect for all skin types from acne-prone to dry skin.  Everyone can benefit from this serum!
The serum itself is very lightweight and thin and it's very important to shake the bottle really well before dispensing product.  Once applied to the skin the serum absorbs almost instantly and works really well with other skincare products like other serums, moisturizers and it even wears well under makeup!
Below is an example of what products I use on a regular basis and what I have been using with the C-ESTA Serum.  These particular products are what I use for my morning skincare routine.  I change it up a bit a night with oils and sometimes I use a different cleanser but I always use the Jan Marini Hyla 3D and the C-ESTA Serum.  They are both worth the investment.
I cannot recommend this C-ESTA Serum enough!  This serum delivers clinical results but at a much lower cost than you would pay for an office visit and a prescription!

You can purchase the C-ESTA Serum by Jan Marini Skin Research at janmarini.com and it retails for $105.00 for 8 oz.

Instant Peel Exfoliant by Earthen Skincare

*Instant Peel Exfoliant by Earthen Skincare

I love a good peel.  I usually go for an acid peel but this particular peel uses proteins and enzymes to gently slough away dead skin cells.  I will admit that I was a bit skeptical but thankfully I was pleasantly surprised at how well this Peel worked!  The only negative I can say about this product is that it's kinda messy.  As long as you go into it knowing that things might get a bit messy then you should be good to go!
To use this special peel Earthen Skincare recommends that you steam your face for about 5 minutes before application to prepare the skin for ample exfoliation.  As a shortcut, I found it works the same if you just do it while your taking a shower, plus it's easier to clean up!
The actual product comes in convenient, individual packets which makes this peel a great one to travel with as well.  The peel solution itself reminds me a bit watered down paint.  You can either pour the product out into your hand and then massage into your face, neck and decollete all at once or you can do a little at a time and do it in sections.  I've tried both methods but I found it's less messy if you do it in sections.  Once the product is applied you simply massage it into the skin and as it dries it will begin to roll taking with it dead skin and debris.  When you feel like there is no more product left on the skin you can rise with warm water to reveal amazingly revitalized skin!  I was impressed how much more clear, vibrant and glowy my skin looked after just one use!  I'm a sucker for masks and peels and this one definitely made it onto my new favorites list!
I would recommend this for all skin types.  However, if you have super sensitive skin it would be a good idea to do a test patch first.
This Instant Peel Exfoliant by Earthen Skincare retails for $50.00 for 6 single use packets.  However, you can also find it on Amazon.com for $45.00 with your Prime Membership!

Age-Defying Eye Serum by Nerium International ~ Giveaway

I've taken the last couple of months to really test out a variety of Nerium products.  I wanted to see if they could live up to all the hype and so far so good!  I most recently tested and reviewed the ever popular Age-Defying Night Cream and I can say I am definitely a fan of it and would recommend it if it fits into your budget.
Next up is the Age-Defying Eye Serum and another great Nerium product!  This Eye Serum is one that you will be able see instant benefits and results and well as in the long term benefits.  If you have puffy eyes this will rapidly de-puff them and you can say goodbye to dark circles!  It will also make fine lines and wrinkles less noticeable.  The Age-Defying Eye Serum will immediately hydrate, tighten, lighten and brighten the entire eye area.  However, due to the tightening effect of this serum it may not feel as hydrating as other eye creams and serums.
I've seen some really amazing results with this Eye Serum.  Some lucky peeps have even reported that they no longer need to use concealer when they use this Eye Serum!  Unfortunately, I'm not one of those lucky peeps but it has really helped with my puffy eyes, fine lines and at least made dark circles less noticeable!
The other thing is this Eye Serum is a little more labor intensive than a normal serum or cream.  There is a little trick to using this Eye Serum and to get the best results.  All you need is one pump for both eyes (they recommend using one pump for each eye but I found you can get away with one or one and a half for both).  Take a few seconds to gently smooth the serum around the eye area and make sure to pay close attention to those fine lines and wrinkles.  Once the Eye Serum is evenly spread you will need to stop smoothing and stay expressionless for 30 seconds as the product dries.  Voilà, a new, younger looking YOU!
If you still feel you need to use concealer just make sure the Eye Serum is completely dry before applying any makeup, otherwise the Eye Serum can possibly ball up under the makeup (I know because I have had this happen to me and trust me it's not a good look!).

Here are a few un-retouched before and after pics that are pretty incredible...

The Age-Defying Eye Serum by Nerium International has been dermatologist and ophthalmologist tested and is ideal for use on all skin types.  For ingredients and more detailed information you can go to Nerium.com.
The Age-Defying Eye Serum retails for $80.00 or you can get it for $60.00 it you sign up for auto-delivery.  If you would like to purchase the Nerium Eye Serum you can contact Nerium Brand Partner, Jennifer @ 541-815-1119 or visit her Nerium website!
You can also enter the Giveaway below and win a FREE Age-Defying Eye Serum!

The giveaway starts 06/22/17 at 9 a.m. PT and will run through 07/14/17 until 9 a.m. PT.
The winner will be announced by 07/17/17 and will be notified via email.

My Top Picks for Skincare As Seen On Afternoon Live!

I was lucky enough to be asked to join Tra'Renee on the KATU Afternoon Live show and share some of my favorite skincare products that I am loving right now.  I tried to narrow down my top picks to seven products.  While seven sounds like a lot I could have easily added about five more!
I decided not to include a cleanser in my top picks simply because there are so many of them out there and I think it’s more important to focus on actual skincare as opposed to something that just removes makeup, oil and debris and is only on your skin for a limited amount of time.  I also didn’t choose any sunscreen since most makeup and some skincare contain sunscreen these days.  I also feel like sunscreen would be an obvious choice and something most people already use on a regular basis.

All the products below are listed in the order of which they should be applied to the skin, from the lightest to heaviest, serums first and oils last.

Facial Mist/Toner

I use a facial mist/toner in both my morning and evening skincare routines everyday.  Immediately after I wash my face and while my skin is still damp I will apply some type of a face mist/toner.  I recommend using a toner that is suited for your skin type and that will help balance the pH levels in your skin.
A great option and one that would be great for all skin types is the Essance Revitalizing Facial Toner.  This toner is hydrating and will help balance all skin types as well as the pH levels on the skin which should be around 5.5.  Plus, it’s made with Organic ingredients, smells amazing and it’s locally made in Portland!
Cost: $12.00 for 60ml

Eye Cream

I have a ton of eye creams that I like and that I alternate back and forth depending on how my eyes are feeling and looking.  Lately, for daytime I find myself reaching for the Farmacy Eye Dew.  This is the perfect “day” eye cream.  It feels hydrating, firming and soothing all while minimizing fine lines and dark circles.  Plus, the packaging is beautiful!
Cost: $38.00 for 15ml

At night I prefer something a little thicker like the Super Fruits Eye Balm and it's usually my go to nighttime “Eye Cream".  It has the texture of Vaseline and it's thick, rich and balmy.  It's very nourishing, hydrating and for me it's the perfect nighttime Eye Cream.
Super Fruits Eye Balm
Cost: $36.00 for .35oz

Vitamin C Serum with Hyaluronic Acid

The Vitamin C Serum from Oz Naturals is a multi-tasking skincare product and one that can be used in both morning and evening skincare routines.  Not only does it contain 20% Vitamin C which helps even out skin tone, improve hydration and protect skin from free radical damage created by the sun and pollution but it also contains Hyaluronic Acid.  Hyaluronic Acid has powerful anti-aging properties and just one gram of it can hold up to six liters of water.  It can help skin retain moisture, improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and can make skin smoother, supple and more youthful and is recommend for all skin types.
Cost: $17.95 for 30ml

Firming Serum

For those of us over 30 this Aveda Tulasara Firm Concentrate is “Must Have” serum.  This serum will help instantly help tighten the skin and when used over time it will firm the skin and visibly reduce fine lines and wrinkles.  I love this product for the neck and décolleté!
Can be used in both morning and evening skincare routines.  Recommended for all skin types but especially aging skin.

Cost: $59.00 for 30ml

Moisturizer/Face Oil

Instead of your typical moisturizer cream I usually opt for facial oil.  I like to use Lapis Facial Oil by Herbivore.  It contains Blue Tansy Oil which helps with inflammation, redness and also it also antibacterial so it helps clarify the skin,  I have very oily skin and this oil helps balance it out.  It hydrates my skin in such a way that helps stop it from producing excess oil leaving me with perfectly nourished, balanced and hydrated skin.  Oily skin needs moisture too!
I only use this particular oil in my morning skincare routine.  This Lapis Facial Oil by Herbivore is formulated for people with combination, oily or blemish-prone skin.
Cost: $72.00 for 50ml

Acids

Unless you have perfect skin Acids are something I think everyone could benefit from.   If you’re an acid newbie or have sensitive skin I recommend starting with a product that contains Glycolic Acid which is an Alpa Hydroxy Acid or AHA.   Pixi Glow Tonic contains Glycolic Acid; it’s a great option, suitable for all skin types and can be used in place of your Toner.  It exfoliates, purifies and will help accelerate cell renewal to give you a brighter, more even toned complexion and ultimately…younger looking skin.

Pixi Glow Tonic
Cost: $15.00 for 100ml

However, if you have aging or pigmented skin I recommend something a little stronger.  The Lactic Acid Superficial Peeling Formulation from The Ordinary is a great option.  This Lactic Acid Peel is great for fading hyperpigmentation, sun spots Melasma or even old blemish spots.  It also removes dead skin cells and accelerates cell renewal which will help diminish fine lines and wrinkles.  Overall, skin looks and feels more youthful.
This Lactic Acid Peel should only to be used at night, just a few times a week and in place of any other serums.  I also don’t recommend using other types of acids or Retinols while using this Lactic Acid Peel.  Make sure to follow it up with a nice, hydrating night cream or facial oil.
Cost: $6.79 for 30ml

Night Cream/Face Oil

Nighttime is the prefect time to really treat and nourish the skin.  I find most traditional Night Creams are way too heavy for my oily skin and tend to break me out and I find oils to be more beneficial.  I have a few that I alternate between but my go-to has got to be the Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate.  It contains a blend of skin-loving oils that help replenish and restore skin overnight and in the morning skin looks more clear, healthy and supple!  Recommended for all skin types.
Cost: $72.00 for 1.7oz.

Organic Super Glow Mud Mask by Maywood Creek Essentials

I love a good Mud Mask!  There is just something satisfying about the entire process of doing a mud mask.  From putting it on and feeling it go to work on the pores to washing it off and revealing refreshed skin.  It's very cathartic!
This Super Glow Mud Mask by Maywood Creek Essentials is a great way to take a time out and have some "me" time.  It's a little different from the other "Mud Masks" that I own in that it doesn't dry down to what I like to call a "crust" layer that has to be scrubbed off.  Instead, since it can also be used as a regular cleanser it has more of a whipped texture that doesn't completely dry down.  I like to buff it into my skin and leave on for about 20 minutes and wash off using a damp washcloth.  Once the mask is applied it almost instantly gets to work on my pores and I can feel it drawing out all the gunk that I keep stashed away in them.  I also like that it instead of drying out my skin this Super Glow Mud Mask actually leaves my skin feeling hydrated, that's a nice change compared to other mud masks that can strip the skin leaving it dehydrated.
After just the first use my skin felt revitalized, soft and smooth.  After using it a few more I noticed my blemishes were healed and some hyperpigmentation spots also seemed less noticeable!
I would consider this mask to be more on the gentle side and I can get away with using it 4-5 times a week.  If you have really sensitive skin you may only want to do it 2-3 times a week.  Either way it's a great multi-tasking mask!
The Organic Super Glow Mud Mask by Maywood Creek Essentials retails for $19.33 for 8.8oz.

Hyla3D by Jan Marini ~ Age Rewind In a Bottle

I've been using Jan Marini products on and off for years and I've always been impressed with the quality of the products and the results they deliver.  The newest addition to the Jan Marini skincare arsenal is their Hyla3D and it's definitely a stand out product and I feel so lucky that I was able to test it out first hand.
The Hyla3D by Jan Marini is basically age rewind in a bottle.  Developed with impressive anti-aging ingredients like peptides, antioxidants and numerous forms of Hyaluronic Acid this serum is exactly what you need if want to look a few years younger than you do right now.  The powerful ingredients work synergistically to help increase hydration levels in the skin, boost collagen and also improve elastin.  All of which will reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and give skin a more plump, rejuvenated and youthful look.
This has been my go-to serum for my morning and evening skincare routines for the past couple of weeks.  I use the serum right after I have properly cleans and tone my skin and before I apply my moisturizer.  It's recommended to use all over the face and neck but because it's a little on the expensive side I've only been applying this super hydrating Hyla3D serum to the places where I am starting to see signs of aging which is primarily around my eyes, neck and decollete.  I've already noticed a significant improvement on my decollete, which is where I am showing the most signs of aging and also around my eyes.  After just a couple of weeks I've noticed that my skin looks more smooth, supple and dare I say....a little younger looking!!  I'm impressed!
Like I said this Hyla3D by Jan Marini is a little pricey at $125.00 for 1oz., but it works!  If you can budget the $125 then I would definitely get this serum in your skincare stockpile ASAP!

Go to janmarini.com for more information on this innovative Hyla3D Serum and make sure to take a look at what else they have to keep you looking younger, longer!
