I think using acids as part of your everyday skincare routine is the best thing you can do for your skin.  Even better is to use a natural and organic line of skincare like IQ Natural & Organics.  IQ Natural & Organics has a great line of Alpha Hydroxy skincare that I have been testing out over the last couple of months and my skin is thanking me for it!

First up is their Alpha Hydroxy Cleanser which is a gentle but extremely effective cleanser.  It not only gives skin a nice deep clean but it also helps exfoliate dead skin cells which leaves skin feeling soft and smooth.  I highly recommend using it with a Clarisonic or Foreo for the ultimate cleanse.  This would be a great cleanser for any skin type.

The best way to follow up with the Alpha Hydroxy Cleanser is with their Alpha Hydroxy Toner!  This toner helps to lighten hyperpigmentation, further exfoliate dead skin cells and also helps to smooth skin texture.  I especially love using this toner when I have a breakout.  It helps to heal and clear blemishes without leaving skin feeling dry and dehydrated like other toners can.  I would definitely recommend this toner for all skin types.

*Alpha Hydroxy Moisturizer

The Alpha Hydroxy circle would not be complete without the IQ Natural & Organics Alpha Hydroxy Moisturizer.  Following up the cleanser and toner with this moisturizer ensures younger, softer and smoother skin!  This Alpha Hydroxy Moisturizer is packed with anti-aging ingredients along with Alpha Hydroxy to help keep skin looking fresh and new.  It's a lightweight moisturizer that is easily absorbed and leaves skin feeling hydrated and soft and works great as a primer for makeup.  Of course, I would also recommend this moisturizer for all skin types!

*Replace Face Mask

If you have been a follower of my blog for any length of time then you already know how much I love a good face mask and I have tried a ton of them.  However, I have yet to try any other face mask quite like this Replace Face Charcoal Detox Mask.

The Replace Face Mask is very unique in the fact that it helps heal and clear up any blemishes, helps lighten scars from blemishes and other hyperpigmentation and helps balance skin's oil production.  All that while leaving skin feeling really hydrated and soft, maybe even a little plump!  It has a gel-like texture to it that is easy to apply and very gentle on the skin.  I like to apply to my face, neck and decollete and leave on for at least 15 minutes and then rinse.  For best results I would use at least three times a week.  This is another one that I would recommend for all skin types!

Here's another great product from Valentia that I am happy to have in my skincare arsenal!  This Night Revive Retinol Serum by Valentia is a lovely little serum.  It's lightweight, easily absorbed and works at making your skin beautiful while you sleep.

The serum contains a blend of essential vitamins and botanicals that help compliment and intensify the Retinols.  The serum helps stimulate collagen production and exfoliate dead skin cells which helps create softer, smoother and younger looking skin.  

I like to apply this serum to freshly cleansed skin that is slightly damp.  I usually use a facial mist and then immediately apply this serum to my face, neck and decollete.  Once the serum is absorbed I normally follow it up with my usual night cream or facial oil but this serum does a great job all on it's own.

This Night Revive Retinol Serum by Valentia has helped lighten and brighten my complexion while diminishing the look of my fine lines.  It also hydrates and conditions my skin so when I wake up in the morning I have clear, soft, smooth skin that even has a nice glow to it!  

I would recommend this serum for all skin types.  I like to use at least 4-6 times a week depending on what other products I am using.  It's a gentle serum so you could easily use it every night if you wanted to.  If you have sensitive skin you may want to start out using 2-3 times a week.

Also, you should be wearing an SPF everyday but since Retinols help reveal fresh new skin it's even more important that you wear a sunscreen to protect it!

As a beauty blogger I am blessed at being able to test out lots of great skincare products and in the process I also discover some fantastic brands and Valentia Skin Care is one of them.  I've tested out several products from Valentia and because the products are such great quality and because I love what they do for my skin they have become one of my favorite skincare brands.

The newest product that I have been testing out is this Natural & Organic Pure Glow Brightening Moisturizer.  It's loaded with some potent ingredients like Botanical Hyaluronic Acid and Shea Butter that help hydrate and nourish the skin while ingredients like Ginseng and Kojic Acid also help even out skin tone and firm the skin.

This is a lightweight moisturizer that is easily and quickly absorbed into the skin leaving it feeling soft and hydrated and it also adds a nice "glow from within" look to the skin as well.  In general, I have oily skin and this moisturizer actually seems to help balance out my skin.  It helps diminish my fine lines and overall my skin just looks more healthy and hydrated.

This is a great day time moisturizer but I have even used it as a night cream too.  It wears well under makeup and I haven't had any issues with breakouts.  I would recommend this moisturizer for all skin types.  I really think just about every skin type from dry to oily and even acne prone could benefit from it.  Plus, I think it's at a great price point at $25.00 for a 4 ounce bottle that will last forever.  Of course, it also contains all natural and organic ingredients that do some really great things for the skin which make it really worth it!

Fall is the perfect time for Tea.  Really any time is a good time for Tea.  I am a huge connoisseur of Tea of all kinds so I love getting the chance to test out something new.

This is a Fresh Darjeeling First Flush Organic Loose Leaf Black Tea by Teaveli and it's lovely!  When you first open the bag it smells amazing.  In fact you may wan to just sit and inhale for a few moments and take in all the scents.  The best part is that it tastes as good as it smells!  It has a really great hearty flavor and you can almost taste how fresh it really is.  I read that this would be a good type of tea to brew Kombucha and it just so happens I am taking a class in a couple weeks on how to do that.  Perfect timing and I cannot wait to see what kind of Kombucha this tea will make!

Oh my beloved Vitamin C Serum!  Vitamin C Serum is one of my all time favorite skincare products and probably the one that I recommend the most to friends, family and to my readers.  A good Vitamin C Serum like this one from Divas Never Age could easily be one of the most important products in your skincare regime.

Besides Vitamin C this Vitamin C Serum by Divas Never Age combines natural and organic ingredients like Aloe Vera, Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin A, Vitamin B3, Niacinamide among others.  This serum is lightweight and absorbs immediately into skin leaving it soft and hydrated.  The potent ingredients work together to nourish the skin while helping to even out skin tone and smooth skin texture.

I like to apply this to slightly damp skin that has been freshly cleansed and toned.  I recommend applying it anywhere you have hyperpigmentation issues or uneven skin tone in general or anywhere you would like to improve the overall appearance of your skin.  I usually apply to my face, neck and decollete.  This is a multi-tasking anti-aging product and that's why I can't recommend it enough!

My favorite kind of skincare products are the all natural and organic kind and this Oxygen Facial Tonic by GÖTZ falls perfectly into that category!

This is basically a toner that works wonders on my oily skin.  I would recommend it for all skin types but I love what it does for my oily skin.  Formulated with a blend of potent natural and organic ingredients it helps tone, hydrate and most importantly, balance my oily skin without stripping it of it's natural oils.  Skin looks and feels clean, clear and balanced.  

This Oxygen Facial Tonic also helps prep my skin for the next steps in my skincare routine.  In fact, I love that it seems to help my moisturizer absorb more quickly as well.

Let's talk packaging for a second.  I love the packaging.  The glass bottle is simple elegant and looks good sitting on my bathroom counter.  Packaging always counts for something in my book!

The only thing I would change is the sprayer.  I prefer a finer mist that I can just spray onto my face. The sprayer allows too much product to come out all at once and it comes squirting out so I have to spray onto a cotton pad first and then use that to apply the product.  Other than that, it's perfection and a great new addition to my skincare routine!

If you have very dry or very mature skin then this is the day cream for you!  As much as I liked this Rich Day Cream by Living Nature it was just a little to intense for my oily/combination skin.  It was still something I enjoyed using but I had to stick to using it on my neck and decollete during the day or just use it as a night cream.

It is a very hydrating and nourishing cream that leaves skin soft and supple and moisturized all day long.  As with a lot of the other Living Nature products this Rich Day Cream has all natural Active Manuka Honey Totara Extract which help promote moisture, nourishment and fight off skin-aging free radicals!

This quickly became a new favorite body lotion!  As soon as I put it on my skin it left my skin feeling silky smooth and I knew we had a winner.  Not only is it an all natural and organic body lotion but it smells light and fresh and it's extremely hydrating.

My favorite way to use this is to combine with the Living Nature Body Wash.  I apply the Refreshing Body Lotion right after I get out of the shower while my skin is still slightly damp and the lotion is almost immediately absorbed leaving skin nourished.  The Shea Butter in it really does soften and soothe the skin and it's very long lasting.  I can put it on in the evening and it will last well into the next day. Also, because it's a light neutral scent it can be used by everyone in the family.
